Why do all PBF fans.....

I seen enough of Floyd and Hatton fights to know that Floyd is the superior all around boxer. Hatton Imo wont be able to get away with his hugging tactics and will countered all night by Floyd. I see PBF winning by Late TKo

If you can't find the threads where there has been ample analysis given on multiple occasions, that's your problem.

 

Arturo Gatti got a bit torn up.

Ricky Hatton is not Gatti.

Should be a good fight. That's what I want. I just want a good fight.

 

I don't know how can people honestly think that Hatton can win. The guy will probably quit on his stool or show a big heart and get shot with them stinging jabs all night long. Hatton is slow, he won't get near Floyd and if he even does he won't get a lot of shots in.

You cant hold a guy that dont want to be held..and is not coming forward...if hatton holds floyd keeps his gloves in front of him in punching position and floyd can back up and when hatton attempts to get a wild hook or a punch off..floyd counters over top with the right hand..Floyd is the master of getting off first in last in a clinch or in a fight period..He always gets off first. I will tell you as soon as you here ding floyd is going to lead off with the right hand on hatton coming forward or tag his body with the jab...If hatton keeps coming forward floyd will fight off the back foot make him miss and and counter with right hand uppercuts. Hatton is open to any punch Floyd throws...He is an easy target for a crisp puncher like floyd. He can shorten them up or go long with lead rights and jabs to the body..**** the head..floyds body jab is his most effective weapon.

Well, Im not what you would call a PBF fan. My favorite way to put it is....I love, ABSOLUTELY LOVE watching him fight....I just hope he gets hit by a bus.

But, a fighter like Hatton, that relies on getting inside, muscling and overpowering his opponent, is going to have a long night vs someone who is MUCH faster than anyone he has ever fought...someone who is a better counterpuncher than anyone he has ever fought...someone who has better defense than anyone he has ever fought...someone who is just a better fighter than anyone he has ever fought.

I like Hatton alot. But from a pure stylistic matchup, this is ALL WRONG for Ricky. Its a tremendous mismatch.

For Hatton to be successful in this one, he is going to HAVE to be successful from the OUTSIDE first and work his way in....and that is taking him RIGHT out of his strengths and right into Floyd's.

I dont think this fight will be even close. I wish it would be...I wish Hatton would take it and SHUT FLOYD and his unruly fans up (not all of them, but even the rational Floyd fans know WHO I am referring to), but its just not going to happen.
