Why do AM fans believe Floyd ducked AM when AM is not even built like that?

I don't know pit, i feel like maybe we should give in and just use a video that is cleary meant to bash floyd as a credible source of information. That seems way easier and more reasonable than finding out actual information on the issue...

watchin that video is like watching a fox news report, obviously it is skewed and biased. arum has changed his tune 15 different times about the pbf margo fight. first he said floyd turned it down, then he said floyd agreed but wanted a guarenteed 10 mil for hatton and cotto.

maybe if your boy AM wouldn't have lost to williams he would have gotten his shot at PBF... by the way all he has to do is beat the Punisher in a rematch and he will clearly be the top WW. that would practically force Floyd to fight him.. yet hes in no hurry to do that is he??? maybe he is ducking Floyd??

    Close thread!:deal:hi:

"Arum agreed that the split with Mayweather was not on bad terms like their brief breakup last year. In fact, Arum said, "We intend to be back together. Everything with this was honorable and good. I had offered him numbers [for a multi-fight contract extension] that were livable. His expectations are in the stratosphere. He was entitled to buy me out, and he did. We decided this was the best way to handle it. He is a free agent. We have agreed to work with each other [in the future]."

""That's not in the cards," Arum said. "He wants $20 million for the De La Hoya fight? It's not there. Sometimes, my man, you gotta know when to hold 'em and when to fold 'em. We'll talk about things down the road." (Floyd ended up making over $20 million for Oscar, Arum is obviously upset now)

"Arum said while Mayweather would have taken the $8 million to fight Margarito, he asked for a $10 million guarantee to fight opponents such as Miguel Cotto and Ricky Hatton, when Arum was only willing to guarantee $7 million." (He was willing to fight Marg, but wanted more against Cotto and Hatton, which was justifiable. Especially with Hatton)

There you go dude. You people are idiotic with the ducking crap. Arum should have given Floyd his money and the fights you wanted would have happened.

    Blame Bob Arum.

My man!:good On point......Floyd didn't duck anyone. He made Business and Career moves. Bottom line. There are many men that Floy could have faught but didn't, but it's not b/c he was afraid of them...he just saw $$$$ signs in other areas and took those routes

It's exactly the same thing that Marg did immediately after beating Cotto and what Paul did immediately after beating Marg. They chose other options for better financial opportunities. At this level and with pro boxers they are sheldom afraid of anyone...they are supremely confident in their own abilities and if they aren't......they have no business in the ring or they can get seriously hurt fighting withOUT confidence.

The one positive about the most recent fights is that the threads like these died down !
