most Americans believe that Joe Calzaghe isn't Welsh and is in fact English. So this is a somewhat ironic post considering, made me laugh though :good

As for P4P ranking etc sure, Britain and Europe cant compete with the American run rankings and boxing organisations... strange huh? :rofl

Generally America is the boxing capital and most of histories greatest fighters have hailed from there, this is true, but things aren't going that way at the moment and a lot of fans cant stand that... so there's an influx of UK vs US bull**** going on and it's pretty pathetic... but then from my time here I'd say boxing fans are on an equal footing with football fans when it comes to ignorance and lack of education.

Your point is? Oh, that's right - you don't have one...

Edit: And as far most are concerned Joe is British, not English. We just give y'all a broad blanket term in the same way you call us Yanks :good

True, and that's why I don't feel I fit in with the average boxing crowd. I also can't stand football, or the majority of it's fans.

Not True At All, We Have More Respect For You Guys Then You Think, We Have A Deep Long Standing Relationship With The Uk,
We Support Calzaghe/ Hatton/ Hamed, If Uk Boxers Had More Exposure In The Us You Would Find This To Be True. But We Can Go Without The Boos To Our Anthem. Lol

I'm from the US and think Hatton and Calzahge have proven their greatness via wins, respectively, over Zoo and Kessler. Can't speak for my American Colleagues though, sorry.

All Americans are unproven until they come to Europe, boxing's rightful home.
