Talent, style, attitude, and location are generally the only attributes that factor into who I root for. My favorite fighter of all time is Marvin Hagler, for me, he ticked all of the above boxes.

All you have to do is put an American fighter in the ring with a fighter from another country and you will hear the chants of USA, USA. We reserve the right to talk bad about our own but we wont take that **** from nobody else so fold that **** up and sit on it.

Kinda simple, america is an infusion of many different cultures /races etc. Which isnt the case with some other countries.

I don't care where a boxer is from, if they are exciting and proven to be good I will watch them.

I don't really have a current favorite boxer, I guess mayweather

It's not our fault the United States has so many more SUPERIOR athletes than the rest of the world that its hard for us to keep up with them all to cheer them on.:thumbsup

The reality of it is people like to root for their own. They want to root for someone that looks like them. I have no problem with that. Mexicans will root mexicans, Filipinos for Filipinos, etc. The majority of the US is made of white americans. White americans found a sport in mma where they can actually root for their own. They don't really excel in boxing. When mma became popular people, i heard various white people say "finally, a combat sport where we can root for our kind."

There are more white title holders in boxing than black right now

Who do AA's have to root for besides mayweather?

Mosely - 100 years old, never was that good at all
Broner - untested, got whooped on by that one hispanic guy
andre ward - his father was a white irish guy
    Dirrell - exposed
    berto - exposed
    Pwill - exposed
    kirkland - glass chinned bum
Russell Jr - untested but talented
    Peterson - legit
    Bradley - legit
    devon alexander - bum
