Why do Andre Ward fans love the 'Triangle Theory' so much?

I guess the triangle theory is used as Ward has not yet beaten a top undefeated prime SMW, or an undefeated SMW champ.
Ward beat unwell, double vision suffering, rusty, faded Kessler, who beat Froch who beat Bute etc, but was never the one to take the 0.
Ward has yet to get out from under the Calzaghe era and is fighting Calzaghes leftovers, which seems to cause upset to some fans for some reason.
Had Ward fought undefeated Bute the era may have changed, but he didnt and fans point to the Bute loss to Froch as a defence and stick the the traingle theory you note.
Consider how Hopkins lost to Taylor who lost to Pavlik who lost to Hopkins. Styles make fights and I think the undefeated version of Bute would have beaten Ward. But we will never know now.
Ward is a good fighter with good skills, but until we see him against a top prime undefeated SMW its hard to know just how good. Hes in an era that I think it weak, but it may become interesting if DeGale boxes and defeats Froch

    That also has a point.
You are right, its the fighter who exposes the weakness and takes the 0

Groves has suffered 2 defeats and remember how I schooled you before on the mindset of the undefeated fighter?
Still one thing Groves can draw on, is experience in beating undefeated SMW, Olympic Gold Medallists

interesting point. as it stands, froch is doing wonders for ward's legacy, while the man himself ain't doing **** outside of dominating his fans' fantasy matchups.

i may have just answered your question!
