why do boxers lie about there age?

    You only have to look at other sports Obafemi Martins when at Inter Milan the oldest looking 'teenager' I have seen in football!Mind you Roger Milla at 40 wasn't too shabby a player at the 1990 World Cup!!

    Dennis Andries he didn't even know for sure how old he was!

    cos people who don't know **** all ask how old is he and if u say hes 30 they say or think he's well past it i think your mid 30s is your prime ps iam50 lol

    I know it used to happen but wasn't aware still an issue in boxing. Surely the authorities will verify true age - is a health risk.
