Why do Boxing experts rate Tyson Fury BUT fans don't?

People don't like fury, and that's what decides things online

 

TBH i do seriously believe there is a lot of racist feeling against Tyson and it clouds the judgement of many on various forums and elsewhere. Fury is a very good fighter with a very good skill set, despite his over-hyped glass jaw, he has great recuperative powers. He is handsome and (when not acting the eejit) articulate. I think many in England resent this from a traveller. Fury is never gonna be liked by the majority of boxing fans unless he does something special like beat a Klitchko.

 

I one million % agree with this , top post :good. People are using the "fury got dropped by pajkic" adage , but the way i saw it , fury had absoulutly no respect for pajkic , AT ALL, and totally walked onto that shot. It would of floored most. He got up and fought through it. He was also out of shape at the time. In my opinion he's gonna be very wary of price's power if they fought and he'll be in career high condition. He took chisoras best shots when he was in condition (by his standards). Trust me , this fight all boils down to how price handles Fury's work rate and pressue when he doest go down off price's shots. IMO this is one of the most exciting fights in the world ATM and i , for one , cant wait!!!!!!!:bbb:bbb:bbb

 

I think people are too generous to Price in a possible fight with Fury, I do believe he would win but would be more like a 60-40 fight. Fury has shown he can get in better shape and improve defensively, it just depends how far he can improve to whether he will beat Price

 

Or they enjoy putting out quotes to get under other peoples skin.

 

i see this as a real 50/50 but if forced would, at the moment, pick Price just based on the fact that he has not broke a sweat dispatching McDermott, Sexton and Audley, who are equal to or better than all of Fury's opponents bar Chisora. But styles wise this should gel nicely.

Oh and a quick browse of twitter you could find 3 or more "experts" for Price, but expert opinion doesn't mean **** when a fight is hyped, as someone said they get caught up in it, and more than most as they have vested interests. Plus people picked Harrison to beat Haye, Audley Harrison.

Tyson never had a trainer, he fell out with me dad, as when he beat Chisora every idiot and his grandad was giving him advice, and so he insisted on his own conditioning trainer, from Morecambe rugby club, and a trainer who kissed his arse from Canada, Wich concluded in him on his arse with Pajik, . He is no longer allowed to train here as a result of that dispute, wich was his second chance after leaving first time wich resulted in Mcdermott 1. Yes he was 20 odd stone and gave away what he'd worked hard for, the titles, but if he uses his head and continues his dedicated aproach he,s capable of beating price, who he fought when he was 17, in the northwest a.b.a. final at Wythenshaw forum.

SERIOUSLY, The atitude on here reflects the general feeling throughout, THE FULL COUNTRY, as anonamous people are more likely to come out the cuboard so to speak. 90% of people have never spoke to a traveler, and most of the sterio types are non traveler wanabees, for every 1 real traveler theres 5 pretenders, even the tv gypsies are of a council estate in rochedale etc,. But imitation is a form of flattery, racisum is pretty common in boxing, especialy amateurs, but it is a very good motivater when your on the wrong end of it.:-(

 

Fury's more proven having fought and defeated the best fighter between the two so far, but Price has been more spectacular with similar levels of opposition that they've both faced, or same (Big Bad). Price looks to clearly be the more dangerous man. Very clearly. It doesn't mean he'll turn out better, of course. We'll see.
