Whats wrong? These guys are a bunch of rift raft, bigots and derelict bums ! All the bunch of you that constantly hates on the British fighters.
Right now I see him beaten by JMM (of course) who i do not see moving up any time soon (unless it is to fight ricky or manny) so he will be king fo a long time. I do not see him getting past "the ghost" or Soto right now. Guzman is a f'n middleweight so you cannot count him but the most hard luck guy Funeka, or however you spell it, would be a huge challange. Most of these guys are not going anywhere anytime soon. I think Khan has a much easier root to be king. Pac is leaving for Big money at 147 and Bradley and alexander will be close behind. I think he could out box Maidena and cambell has one foot in the grave
All the PBF haters are saying that he is over the hill has been. Real fans know that it was PBF who called out SSM 2x and ssm had a touthache or something. when the shoe was on the other foot PBF made him wait in line. A big differnce between SSM and Hatton is that hatton had his leagion of fans saying he was the best and would whip his ass like he did to zu. however, it was mainly the haters who said that SSM would beat PBF ass and KHTFO
No Brit Fighter EVER been overhyped when compared to Jeff Lacey he was the 2nd coming of Ali according 2 many mainly americans, then when he got his arse handed 2 him on a plate, calzaghe wasnt great, Lacey was **** then he wiped the floor with Jones Jr and Would of taught hopkins a boxing lesson, if hopkins had stoppped hugging him for a 2nd, Then i move on to Hatton, beats Kostyzsu, who many regarded as best 140pounder in world, then when Hatton smashed him up so badly he quit of his stool, Kostyazu was old and hatton cheated and had an awful style, he then went to america where in beat every fighter, apart from the 2 Elite Fighters of the Era, and easily top ten ATG's and he gets slaughtered, as for david haye, America has NO heavyweights worth mentioning and if you think Klitchkos are better than Haye fAIR ENOUGH, but whats with SUPPORTING, a ****ing communist pair of ****ers over a brit, thats just not right, and no doubt when Haye Smashes up the Klits, They will be passed it and he will be lucky with a horable style and a glass chin, in a **** division with no1 init
Hatton is the most overhyped fighter in recent times.Honestly and logically, just think about this for a moment.Mosley is 38 years old.Hatton's last fight was when he was what,29 or 30?Do you believe that Hatton at 38 could accomplish what Mosley has up to this point?Mosley started his career as a lightweight, was a champion there and moved up to welter and superwelter where he fought naturally bigger opponents like Winky.Based on what do you believe Shane is more overhyped than Hatton? Now one more question. If they were both given plenty of time to train and fight later in the year, who do you think would win,Mosley or Hatton?Or even do you believe that Hatton would beat Mayorga or Margarito?Just be honest, that's it.
I haven't seen him mentioned so far (might have missed it) but I have never seen a bad word said against Nigel Benn, by any poster that is, rightly so of coarse.
Cause American's are xenophobic and don't like the fact that the greatest HW of the last 25 years isn't American and the greatest MW-LHW of the last 25 years isn't American either.
And the English aren't guilty of the same frailties and weaknesses? And by the way,New York is in the US.
Duh? Unlike most American's, while I'm a patriot, I'm not a bigot. I support American fighters, my two favorite fighters of all time are both American but I don't discredit non American fighters. This is the first era in boxing where America is no longer the dominant area. Europe is. People don't like that and try to find ways of discrediting fightesr who aren't American or at least fight a high proportion of fights in America.
Duh?You CERTAINLY feel the need to explain yourself. And fighters of ALL nationalities feel the need to discredit other nationalities.Just today an Englishman is quoted on this website as believing that Shane Mosley is as overhyped as Ricky Hatton. How that is possible is not logical.
Because its a boxing forum, where many people are partisan. It really works both ways. You get many people overplaying their hand where the credit and praise they're getting is disproportional to what they've actually achieved. Then in return you'll get a group that will talk ridiculous **** about the fighters just to respond. Often these groups are split by nationality just because thats what people tend to have an interest in first, the fighters from their country, its a natural thing.
