Why Do brits Seem To Dislike Andre Ward?

So, this thread proves that the vast majority of Brits like and respect Andre, but one over zealous Joe Cal fan boy makes so much noise that nobody notices.

 

They dislike Ward for the same reason as Klitschkos. Cause they destroy British fighters.

You do realise us british people have different views and opinions on things don't you? Just because one person thinks it, doesn't mean the rest of the population of Britain will..

I'm British and I really like Andre Ward. Soz.

I'm a Brit and I am beginning to like him.

Yes at first I wasn't convinced by him. I didn't expect him to win the Super 6. I disliked the fact he fought all his fights at home and his ring name is just plain awful.

But there is no denying his ability. He doesn't have the flashiest style he's definitely not fan friendly. But he is such a clever and crafty fighter with superb technical skills.

I am slowly becoming a fan. I don't see anyone being able to beat him for years to come.

Kessler, Froch, Abraham and Dawson are Ward's top 4 SMw victories.

Kessler, Lacy, Mitchell and Reid are Joe's top 4.

Green and Miranda are his next level, Joe has Woodhall and Eubank.

Calzaghe has more depth but Ward has better quality and better achievements imo, plus he'd beat Joe in my book.

Ward > Calzaghe.

 

Which would be sadder: If Bailey has this at cut and past disposal, permanently saved somewhere on his computer or if he has typed this same response so many times he has it memorized?

Or is that the old "would you rather bang Roseanne Barr or Rosie O'donnel" question?

 

lol Ward's career is not even close to being finished ******.

it's sad when you have to compare a retired fighters resume to a guy still in his 20's.

even sadder when the younger guy is almost on par with retired fighter.

 

Only the Calzaghe nuthuggers are jealous of him and hate on him. Alot of British posters on here actually respect and like him. He gets respected just like many AMerican posters on here(such as myself) truly appreciate and rspect Froch.

Brits aren't fussed on god botherers

We tend to look down on the religious and religion in general.

Makes me quite proud actually, religion is for feckin donuts.

He is boring aswell, good fighter but boring.
