Why do delusional fans believe the farce that Calzaghe beat Hopkins?

If it would have been scored for Bernard I wouldn't be upset, Joe didn't dominate or even win convincingly, he simply got lucky.

I had it for JC via a razor thin margin as far as I remember. The fight was tight enough that you couldn't complain if it was given to Hopkins.

Good job at taking statistics out of context and a good job of picking and choosing. You would do a good job on Calzaghe's management seeing as how well they did at picking and choosing weak opponents other than Hopkins

Hopkins couldn't handle Calzaghe's tempo and pressure for most of the fight.

If he was winning be never would've faked the low blow in the 11th

Calzaghe won it going away… and it wasn't even that close.

If it wasn't for all the low blow 'play acting' he might have got the nod. If I was a judge I'd say "**** this guy" and score the round for Joe, even if it is wrong. I've noticed a small increase with 'play acting' of late and I don't like it one ****ing bit. Fighters should be punished for it on the cards when it's so obvious.

Hopkins could be up 11-0 and would still oversell fouls. He's that shameless (see the Jones rematch)

^One of the things that turned it for me. Zaggy was winning marginally anyway on an RBR basis - he just did more.

Fights like that are f#kk hard to score anyway and yeah you give the round to the guy that's done more in that round. I've nothing but respect for BHops achievements but ther is no way (IMO) that anyone watching that fight didn't understand that Hopkins was catching a breather...

Sorry TS, but no, I'm not even a Zaggy fan but I'v watched the fight plenty because I've a great interest in Hopkins...I'm OK with the Zaggy win.

Now I think this is ridiculous, I had Bernard winning by 1 with a whole lot of close rounds.

A somewhat debatable case can be made for Calzaghe not everyone that scored the fight for Calzaghe is delusional or biased, but some are. Scoring is subjective. Now anyone that thought Brandon Rios beat Abrill, that is delusional.

The reasonable ones say Calzaghe did throw more punches, but Calzaghe himself said a lot of it was pitter patter. Point being they are reasoning not exactly delusional.

While others think Calzaghe won because he dry humped Hopkins in the 10th round, then that is not scoring the fight properly.
