Save your breath man, that poster is clueless. He thinks that he knows more about doping in Russia than someone who was born there. :roflatsch
A poster who keeps bad mouthing the Americans in a thread about Eastern Europe is calling someone else a xenophobic hater? This is hilarious. Please don't stop. :deal
I never said it was. I just said that steroid use is endemic in the US (And the rest of the world) as it is in the EE block. Why does it being allegedly state sponsored give an athlete an advantage over a doping athlete in America? It Doesn't. The USADA are responsible for the year round testing of Armstrong and the rest of the american cycling team. It has nothing to do with France.
Last reply to you then off to ignore. USADA have no jurisdiction outside of the US in regards to Pro Cycling dumbass. Armstrong is not on the US Cycling Team. He was a Professional rider in the UCI Pro Tour. The UCI is the their sanctioning body, and the UCI HANDLES ALL THE TESTING, DUMBASS. NOT USADA. The UCI then hands the tests off to a WADA Lab. In fact, when USADA went after Armstrong they did so without any damn jurisdiction. They had no rights to any of his testing in Europe. You know, that's where the ****ing Tour de France is right? atsch:rofl
Sure you didn't. You just keep insinuating that they are as roided up to the gills as the Russians with no reliable sources to back up your claims. No offense man, but someone who thinks that mentioning Lance Armstrong is in any way, shape, or form proves anything regarding the steroid use in the US is completely clueless.
Victor Conte. Balco. Watch Bigger Stronger Faster. Steroid use in the entire of sports is endemic and institutionalized, not just the eastern bloc.
Actually there's a good number of quality boxers out of the ex-Sovs without the massive KO records it's just that the two biggest names happen to be fearsome KO artists (which has been mentioned elsewhere as the probable reason they got the attention and opportunities they have). Just looking out of Russia and Ukraine you got guys like Shafikov, Postol, Allakhverdiev and Gradovich who are all championship level fighters but simply don't get the same recognition as the guys with the big guns.
Ever stop to wonder why the main antagonist in this thread is some clown named Russian Glass? Clearly some alt/troll.
That's probably the only thing that you and I can agree on. By the way, nobody said that PED use was exclusive to the eastern bloc - what posters here are saying is that steroid use is more prevalent in the countries of Eastern Europe than in most other parts of the world (which is true).
Oh and yeah... race has little to do with it... there's big hitters of every race and nationality it's more that we're seeing more of the EEs now because they're finally becoming much more significantltly involved in the pro boxing scene and amateur boxing hasn't declined to the same extent it has in the US ... if any of you think that guys like Kovalev and GGG have the silly KO ratings just cos they happen to punch really hard you need to watch a little more closely.
Except that's purely unsourced speculation. Where is your evidence that doping is more prevalent in EE athletes than the rest of the world? Conte has said it is absolutely endemic in US sports, and has speculated that 60% of the top Olympic athletes are doping. Either way, none of the major eastern block fighters even fight out of the eastern block- so why would you jump to steroids as the reason they fight like they do?
"main antagonist", that's rich. :rofl The thread starter asked a question. I answered. You don't like my answer? Go back to posting on stormfront where everyone agrees with you. Also, not that it is any of your business, but I lost my passwords and had to create a new account.
