Why do especially Brits dislike the Klitschko brothers?

Most ppl like VK, he's the tougher, more aggressive one. Wlad gets **** on for bein too dull.

Only reason for Brits in particular to not like em is the constant bitchin about the LL stoppage win.

 

I quite like the Klitschko's, I was even routing for Wladimir against Haye

They want to see the end of Klitschko era and hope that next HW king will be from Russia (Povetkin primarily). Almost all Povetkin's fans hate K2.

 

Why are you playing the blame game in a thread as stupid as this? There are some Americans that respect greatness for what it is, no matter where it may come from. Lennox Lewis was great, he beat Vitali and would have beat Wlad imo had they fought. I thought Hatton was great, but peaked early (mainly because of his lifestyle) and was cashed out. Calzaghe (despite how I have carried on with his fanboys) was a great fighter. Honeyghan at least I thought he was great and loved Benn.

But back on point, I have no idea why anyone would hate the Klit brothers, they are kings of a very weak generation in HW boxing. Lewis has a far greater legacy, and will always be known as a greater fighter then both brothers, just a fact.

 

I don't hate them but I dislike discussing them on forums like this because I know at some point any discussion will just descend into a tedious flamewar replete with unfunny, borderline homoerotic gifs and the TKO 6/leading on the scorecards **** being brought up for the five billionth time. In other words, I hate their fanboys and haters, who are more or less cut from the same cloth (although some of the "haters" at least have the saving grace of being amusing).

 

Povetkin is not that good, nobody thinks he would have his own era.

 

Nationality has nothing do do with it. They flipped a once great division upside down and made it boring and repetative.

They barley defend their world titles against top ranked contenders, instead take fights with never will be's and never heard of's. Who the hell were Charr and Wach before they singed up to fight a Klitschko? Zero's. No competitivity,all easy and winnable fights.

Povetkin had own era in amateur boxing. He collected all existing titles including rare Good Will Games gold medal. And after that he become WBA HW champion as a professional boxer.
