Why do especially Brits dislike the Klitschko brothers?

The rankings are a means for the fat cat commissioning bodies to exploit the sport for financial gain. Open your eyes you fool.

Name me an exciting fight Wlad fought in? Make me laugh.

    Who have they avoided?

    They took on anyone.

Now we see them take on Wach, Charr and Thompson because there is either no one willing to step up to the brothers (Povetkin, Fury etc) or have been beaten already. The Klitschkos established a complete domination over a division. Nothing other than impressive because it's never been done before.

Every Wlad fight is excting to me. Wladimir beats his opponents to a pulp and that without switching to second gear.

He's just too good to be exciting for you and go toe to toe for no reason. You want to see him get hurt. But he keeps beating them down and fight at his pace. He's undisputed heavyweight king for a reason. Enjoy him while he's around, little lad.

    Are you kidding me?

"Once great division"? When the K brothers took over in 2002-2005 the division was in shambles. You had mediocre B-class fighters like Rahman/Toney/Peter/Briggs/Ruiz/Valuev share the belts, winning them, then losing them quickly.

The brothers cleaned up a previously terrible division. It wasn't "great" before them.

Il be happy when he retires and when you find another sport to follow.

Wlad is a joke and he is going to be tasing the canvas when he faces a decent HW with a pluse.

    So the Klitschko's kickstarted a great HW era. The 30s 40s 50s 60s 70s 80s 90s were all lesser HW generations , i that what you're telling me?

I'll tell you what. If Wlad somehow gets his hands on the WBC belt to complete his collection he'll be looked upon as a great champion by history in an average era.

Who said this was a great era? I didn't. All I said the K brothers (Wlad in particular) didn't ride a 'once great era' down into the dumpster. They took a **** division and brought back a modicum of dignity.

I wasn't talking about the previous few years before they entered into the fray.

So why blame them for taking a 'once great division' down the shitter? How can they be blamed for cleaning out an average division in the era they're living in?

So you must be someone who is called a "Brittard" around here, am I correct?

Now I understand what they mean by that. What a pathetic response.

I've been unlucky with Klitschko fights in that I've never seen them have a great fight with anyone live.

I've seen the Lewis/Vitali fight on YouTube but beyond that my experiance with the Klitschko fights is pretty much a world of Jabs and little else. The most recent experiance I've had watching them was the underwhelming displays vs Haye, Chisora and Charr so my rating of them is not very high.

Can anyone suggest an exiting Klitschko fight other than the Lewis one that would be likely to change my opinion?

I would guess it's because they beat every British fighter they face, with the exception of Lennox Lewis. I think especially today it's because of how David Haye talked so much **** for years about how he could dismantle them, and then gets embarrassed by Wlad and won't even fight Vitali.

In relation to public esteem Lewis vs Klitschko was the last great Heavyweight fight.
