I find it hard to believe anybody is clean anymore. Boxing like most sports followed basic phsyiology pre 80ish. More muscle requires more oxygen. If you train low reps, you gain more muscle. You train high reps, you get more endurance but get skinnier. If you're training to box, you're doing high reps. Now you have guys like Joshua, Haye, Pacquiao, JMM who look like they're competing for Mr Universe.

Look at these pics and tell me you don't suspect both of these guys

    Before:

I personally don't care if they dope themselves up cuz everyone does. Just stop pretending your idol isn't on something.

I wanna see both of them fighting each other again and then Tyson bites Holyfield's ear again and chew it this time in his mouth before swallowing it into his stomach.
Holyfield is one of the dirtiest fighters of all time IMO.

    Lol.

What about Mickey initiating the most egregious headbutt in rd 7 of the first bout ?

Are we to believe he only did recreational drugs but no performing enhancing ones when back in 2013 he admitted using fake peenis for drug-testing?

It always amazes me to what lengths Tyson groupies like Brighton Bomber and others go to defend their street thug hero.

They guy was grilled to it's ears right from when he switched to the convicted murderer King and ever thereafter.

There's a reason he relinquished his WBC belt to Lewis and always looked to end his bouts in a few rds against the easiest opposition possible.

Tyson's fall was everything to do with cus' death
don't think that could be over-stated
mike Tyson, as well as zab Judah for very different reasons, are great examples of the importance of a strong mental game - and how everything can disintegrate if you lose it

The pink elephant standing in the room here was that Holyfield was very likely on HGH to make him a full blown heavyweight, which he wasn't before of course.
The body difference in a short period of time was nothing less than astounding, going from reasonably athletic to Greek god status.

Of course he was an outstanding Cruiserweight with a lot of skill, but without his steroids I don't believe he would ever have even captured a belt at HW in that time period.

Not true at least the first part. They make you stronger and more explosive and recover faster between workouts. What boxer wouldnt benefit from those three things?

    Some do.
But the circle Tyson had around him when he was the champ... hard to imagine that no one got him on drugs.

Here are some facts. Up tp you if you want to accept them or not.

They were both almost certainly on steroids.

Most HWs back then were on steroids.

Steroids had been widely available since the 50s and Nevada didnt test for steroids until 2002.

Holyfield was also on HGH and was probably the one to introduce boxing to HGH since he was the first boxer to be trained by former Mr Olympia bodybuilder Lee Hainey.

Tyson later stated in an interview his biggest regret of his career was not using growth hormones earlier.

Holyfield did infact headbutt Tyson and many other fighters. Emmanuel Steward stated in an interview that Holyfield was clearly butting Tyson intentionally.

Tyson himself also fouled in many fights.

Holyfield was the better man that night, tyson had only fought 18 minutes of boxing in 5 and a half years and it showed.

Tyson ducked Lewis back then because he knew he wasnt ready for a live fighter and thought Holyfield was a shot fighter.

Holyfield clearly turned out not to be shot and produced an ATG performance.

Holyfield has stated in an interview on showtime sports youtube channel that he was lucky to fight tyson when he was beatable.

Tyson has stated that he bit Holyfield because he was mad that Holyfield was such a great fighter.

Placing your head in a certain position is part of the dirty tricks of inside fighting; if you don't do it, your opponent will.

But Holyfield never relied overtly to headbutting to get the win (Bowe triology for example) or to get out a fight ( Tyson initiating the headbutt from outside in first bout).

Since Tyson's bread and butter was inside fighting and he wasn't accustomed to be outfought in that situation, he got desperate then quit.

Exactly there is absolute cast iron proof beyond any reasonable doubt that Holyfield spent almost his entire career on steroids.

Thats why they always name check Roidyfield.
