I welcomed PBC w wide arms when they came on the scene...was a huge Floyd fan, but PBC has behaved just like Top Rank did when Floyd was active. It wasnt cool then so why would it be now? What isn't normal is bringing it here, of course blacks support black fighters the same as Pakistani's supported Amir Khan and Mexicans support Canelo.

It is actually the other way around IMO.

Current day fans (particularly casuals) overate a fighter for being undefeated and rarely look any deeper than the raw numbers. If they take the 2 minutes it takes to look and see who that fighter has actually fought, a far more educated view can be arrived at. Until such time, they just see anyone who is undefeated as some kind of star and promoters, ring announcers and the fighters themselves, only feed that misconception.
