Why do fighters brag about beating bums?

I was really happy to see Nico Ali Walsh lose last week. I was pretty sure they’d gift him a decision; it was refreshing to have a fair outcome. Ricky Hatton Jr. has already been gifted, but he is due for a comeuppance. Rolly Romero certainly earned his beating.
I don’t think it’s easy to knock out any man, but I hate well-connected overhyped prospects like Ali Walsh who are fast-tracked to fame and big money. Match them tough and see what happens.
