He doesn't to the same extent they did. They both fought guys naturally 3-4 classes smaller.

They need to weigh-in the day of the fight.

They need to look ripped at the weigh in and wear some good undies to show off their tails.

That's why some fighters have an extra few weeks to lose a good portion of the weight see BATB

    Roberto Duran and Ricky Hatton?

as to the topic, people act like night before weigh ins created weight cutting. The old time greats cut weight too they just had to weigh in that day

I'd say it should be fair to weigh in the morning of and fight that night

Yeah, they sometimes cut five pounds. Guys today cut fifteen or twenty.

Also, Roberto Duran? Are you high? He's the opposite of a weight cutter. He'd add twenty pounds of fat to fight guys way bigger than him.

Just one example, out-weighed (see what I did there?) by many, many others that support the medically proven fact that weigh-ins on the day of a fight increase the likelihood of injury or death.

This might be possible to respect and acknowledge if the guys they were fighting weren't also doing the exact same thing.

Hope you're smart enough to realize that you rather intensely dislike the vast majority of fighters out there. It's fine, just strange. A bit surprised to see you in denial about the realities of the regular extent of weight draining.

To such an extent as those guys? No, they're in a special class.

That's right, it's just one example, one more than you've given. I don't know a lot of guys who've been seriously hurt because their opponent had a weight advantage and I don't think you could name that many who've been hurt by same day weigh ins either. I don't know which is more common, and neither do you.
