Why do fighters fight so far below their 'normal' weight?

    Not all of them. Are you going to tell me that you think Henry Lundy and Yuriorkis Gamboa were cutting as much weight as Terence Crawford when they fought? When Oscar De La Hoya fought Julio Cesar Chavez, did they even look near the same weight class?

    If you make weight then you're good, if they are actually draining like you guys say then they are at a disadvantage. Don't be stupid.

    If they are dehydrated then hitting that hydration too quickly is sometimes fatal.
