Why do fighters love standing in Wlad's kill zone??

The last set if fighters to show any type of intelligent plan against Wlad were Brock and TOS Williamson.

Now, they lost because Wlad is better then they are, but at least you could see they were attempting to fight intelligently. The used movement, did not stay in Wlad's range.

The reason other fighters stand there and eat jabs is because: 1. they are incapable of doing anything else. 2. they think because Wlad was stopped a few times a long while ago that they can do it too. 3. they are wrong.

...and on a different note, someone back there said that Chambers is a good mover? Chambers footwork sucks. He is stationary. Wlad didn't make him that way, he is always that way. The only thing Chambers had was a lean back, which is ******ed against a guy who is bigger than you. Byrd on the other hand, Byrd was a good mover.

Wlad has been fighting these kinda guys a lot, when he does get someone whose got a boxing brain, he will have to adjust, and I am not so sure he can do so, as he's got so used to fighting these come forward plodders.

Like I've already said - Byrd, Chambers and Chagaev are not 'come forward' plodders. What fighters with 'boxing brains' are you talking about? Haye and Povetkin? Both guys have already blatantly ducked him.

easier said than done for most opponents who are at a large height and reach disadvantage. add to that they are slower than wlad and less athletic. combine that with wlads cautious style and use of reach/height make it very hard for these non athletic heavies to get in the inside.

I'm a Wlad fan but I liked how Peter started out in the first round. He was bending in his waist, it looked a bit like Tyson. That made Wlad miss a lot of punches and jabs. Just look at his landing % in the first couple of rounds. I think it was something like 19%. That made him through a lot more power punches from the beginning.

You either are blind or didnt watch the fight. Yesterday, from the opening bell he threw more power punches than jabs. Look at the compubox stats. I belive it was something like this :80 jabs and 200 power punches. But dont quote me on it. :D

Where can they stand? If they stand outside the zone no one is going to be in range of anything. If they want to win they take a chance and stand in the zone. If they have power maybe they can land and score a knockout before being hit clean, and we do not have a Tyson quality fighter who can slip punches on the inside and land body punches to set up head punches. That is why Mike is so underrated now. His defense set up his punches.

In spite of his hearty performance Peter was beaten badly. He did however position himself at times, and showed a new lateral hip twist that we have not seen from him, albeit inconsequential.

There were moments in the fight where Peter looked like a huge Joe Frazier, and was twisting at the hip, and hooking off of it, albeit widely instead of tightly.

Peter showed a lot of heart in there and for it he deserves much respect. He took Wlad's str8 rights from the start, and kept coming forward.

I wished he didnt take this fight, and fought Ibragimov or Liakovich or another top 15 instrad, lining himself up for a title against Haye, because he would absi****lutely KILL David Haye.

Klitschko calls Haye a loser, well Sam Peter would make David Haye a dead man lying.
