Sure, he didn't engage or throw much all fight, that's fair comment, but he wasn't on his bike. For much of the fight he stood directly in front of Wlad avoiding his punches by body movement and sharp reflex.

I almost respected your post until the ala Mayweather style part. You clearly either haven't seen many of his fights or just don't know **** if you think Mayweather's style is to get on his bike.

But I do agree, that Haye was right to there to be hit with his hands down. Wlad wasn't exactly itching to let his hands go either.

Cause people had wild expectations due to Hayes trash talk. Fact is he did better against a Klitschko than anyone else in at least three years.

They say Haye ran to hide the fact that Wlad couldnt cut off the ring that night

I agree 100% he did not run, he fell to his knees at Wlads crotch at least a dozen times.

OK, I've removed the Mayweather part, though there's is no dispute that in some of his fights (some, not all) he has spent time on his bike.

Most boxers have gotten on their bike at some point in a long pro career, but that hardly makes it a style. A style is something that you do consistently. Too many people mistake defense for running. Mayweather will make you miss but he will always hit you with sharp counters in return. That's hardly getting on your bike.

Wlad forced him to be like that, when you look closely you see there isnt more he could do, wlad had him locked from round 4 on.
Even when he tried to ko wlad in round 12 he get owned, for some reason I keep remembering this one punch, where haye tried to throw a big right and wlad blocks it with a 90 degree angle left hand and throws him back. In the end he wasnt capable to deal with his style, size and speed like all the others.

    :deal

Floyd, when he's on, is a punishing counterpuncher. Haye and Mayweather should never be included in the same sentence in terms of what each man brings to the squared circle. One is a Hall of Famer and a probably a Top 10 type fighter historically. The other is an overhyped Brit.

Haye: “I’m going to embarrass him, knock him [Valuev] out. He’s never fought anyone as fast or who punches as hard as me, or as accurately. I know he feels I’m a little mouthy man from England, but he’s going to be in for a rude awakening when the bell goes.”
