If Marquez shows up to fight and Abraham does not, give it to Marquez, give Abraham an L by DQ. Its that simple. If Abraham wants to get it back, then he can fight him on November 8th or whatever date they had in mind. At that time if the tables are reversed and Marquez doesn't show up for whatever reason, then do the same thing.

The big deal is that this has happened twice in the last couple of weeks. If these guys aren't penalized sufficiently, you can count on it to continue happening. I'm not opposed to postponing fights if something happens in training camp, weeks or months before the fight, like a broken hand or cuts sustained from replacing a window, but if you show up to the weigh-in and can't make weight, or cancel after the weigh-in for any reason, you should lose by DQ. Seems fair to me.

Not to bust your chops, but no it wasn't. Guzman was Nate's WBO mandatory. But regardless, the difference here is one guy (Guzman) had a self inflicted situation (coming into camp heavy and not making weight), wheras the other guy (Abraham) simply got the flu.

Not even close to being the same situation.

Ok, my bad here. Thought it was a voluntary and not the mandatory for Campell. I'm still feeling bad for Nate as he didn't receive any amends and therefore gone broke...

The difference is that Arthur is still going on with the fight just in 4 weeks. You didn't see Guzman Campbell get pushed back now did ya?

Does your mama or daddy go to work with a flu? If they do, do they put their lives on the line as their job?

The boxing ring is a last place you should go if you are so ill you have to check into the local hospital. You can't expect a fighter to step into the ring with a flu just for your comfortable TV entertainment... :!:

Do you guys have **** in your brains?

I'm not saying he should fight if he's sick, I'm saying he should lose by DQ if he doesn't show up to fight after going to the weigh-ins, no matter what the reason.

And what you're saying is irrational with your attempts to invent a new rule in boxing, we know exactly what you're saying and responded to it, you're the one either avoiding certain responses or changing the subject to soccer and other laughable examples.

There are rules in boxing and as proven already, NO ONE is perfect and we all get sick, injured and die. If that happens then the fight being postponed is reasonable as the far higher people involved with the sport AGREE on. You're the one trying to a big deal out of it, get over it, the losing by DQ suggestion is rubbish.

How do you know? When you get a nasty flu and 40 celsius in fever and stay in bed - was that because you "didn't prepare well"?

The rules in boxing are far from perfect and not absolute. Just like your opinions, which are quite the opposite. This is a discussion forum in which topics are these are discussed. If you don't like it, leave. Sometimes I just wish all fo the PBF nuthuggers would take a page from their master's playbook, and retire.
