Why do i feel like Mayweather vs Danny Garcia is gonna happen Sept 12?

    Garcia seems logical but the truth is may does fight guys that are coming off some sort of good performance. Garcias stock has plummeted recently. Part of me would be surprised if he fought him.

    Can see Mayweather ducking the September date. Lack of options and his PPV ain't gonna be **** just 4 months out of the Pac fight.
    Sitting out a year would make sense in terms of buildup and allowing somebody at 147 to get one big win, if he weren't edging closer to 40.

    I think that or Khan is really his only options but Cotto has agreement with HBO for Canelo so it really looks like Khan but if he looks like **** tomorow you can forget about it

    NO WAY HE DOES THAT BRO!! Mayweather is just so smart its CRAZY!! He planned this all along. only sign a 6 fight deal so hes a free agent for his 50th fight. thats why HE WILL fight Sept 12. next May, Brand New Arena, can fight on HBO/SHowtime or even possibly his own network for his last hurray. man hes so smart

    Garcia is being lined up for an August 1 bout. Thurman is scheduled to fight in July. I'm guessing Khan is the frontrunner, and Brook is the backup option.

    Cotto Canelo is bigger than anything that Mayweather can do period

    If Canelo wants that date, hes taking it

    Plus Hunter has said that Mayweather plans on fighting later in the year which is why the Khan fight is practical

    I think Mayweather finally gets bullied off his date

    May vs Garcia would be a dreadfully dull fight though. Probably the dullest fight for Mayweather in I don't know how long. What a one sided sparring session that would be. 10 times worse then MayPac.

    I hope its at least Thurman, Brook or Khan.

    Floyd can't beat Canelo/Cotto by himself. He will need a name fighter to get the job done. Garcia won't cut it. Khan maybe.
