A couple of things point me in this direction.

1- Porters trainer just recently said theres no money in a Thurman fight. Im sure Golden Boy has told him that Maidana is getting the fight and he can defend against Khan and theres most likely way more money in that fight.

2- Porter has that belt that Khan possibly could've had if he didnt pass on the fight with Alexander! Other 2 WW titles are occuiped ( Maidana-WBA, Bradley-WBO) so this is his only chance to become a WW champ as of now.

3 - If Khan doesnt get the fight then hes gonna fight soon. theres April 19-26 being throw around by Golden Boy because they had dates reserved for Maidana-Broner 2. so dates are there. I doubt Khan will take undercard fight on May 3rd when he beat the guy Mayweather would be fighting, even though he would get alot of exposure, his pride will say no.

Thats my feeling folks. I think it will happen and happen soon because Porter and Khan hasnt fought for awhile. I think its a great fight and as of now i would say toss up or 55-45 in Khan's favor.

    What you guys think??

Doubt it. If khan doesn't fight mayweather, surely he'd find it hard to turn down the '5m' offered by hearn to fight kell. He says its an easy fight and 5m aint bad for an easy night (i don't think it would be an easy fight.. i think he'd lose lol)... & be on small money to fight porter..

only way i see that is if goldenboy tell him to get a title the he can fight may in sept... but even then kells mandatory for that belt in june so that wouldn't work out. Also porter has to defend for april, after that he isn't allowed. So no this probably won't happen, it's too soon.

I doubt he fights Brook. maybe in the fall but not in 2-3 months. Khan wants a title, the only one up for grabs is Porter's

    Khan by pretty wide UD.

People go on about how badly Khan did against Diaz but he sure did better than Porter did in the first fight.

The wisest thing to do is for Khan to fight Broner on Mayweather's undercard. It's an easy fight, Khan will probably win by KO and it will set up a fight with Mayweather in September.

Nothing is an easy fight for Khan. Khan has slighty better skills but who knows how Broner is going to react by his first loss. He might go in there and KO khan in less then 6 rounds like Garica. Very dangerous fight, I doubt he takes that. Porter is dangerous too but he has a title

1st of all, Broner will hardly lay a glove on Khan. If he is OUTBOXED by a slow limited plodder like Maidana, Khan will completely own him.

Secondly, Broner lacks the mental tools to cope with that defeat. He has eaten far too much humble pie.

Thirdly, Paulie and Maidana both confirmed Khan hits A LOT harder than Broner in their post fight press conference. And if you think they are lying watch both their fights with Khan and Broner. Khan stops Paulie- Broner cannot hurt him with illegal punches. Khan drops Maidana, and if there was 30 seconds left in the round probably would've had a round one KO. Broner once again, couldn't hurt Maidana with illegal punches.

Fourthly, Khan's chin is better than Broner- see the Maidana fights where he couldn't put Khan down with much harder punches than the 2 he put Broner down with nor did Khan have to fake an injury to avoid being stopped.

Lastly people go on about how bad Khan looked against Diaz- but Diaz is better than Broner. Not long before he fought Khan Diaz was robbed of a win against Shawn Porter, therefore:

    Broner > Maidana > Alexander > Porter=Diaz > Khan.

And that, is evidence of the irrefutable kind. :deal

Probably the highest chance of victory for Khan against any of the top 10 WW's.

Don't really see this happening, not yet anyway. Purely because they're both trained by Hunter & train together. They haven't ruled out the fight, but which one of the 2 finds a new trainer?

I can totally see this fight happening, if it isn't Khan/Mayweather next. You know Floyd wants to fight Khan regardless, but this May might not be the right time. Porter looked good against a tough Alexander. I don't see this as a walk in the park for Khan though. At this point in his career, any top contender won't be easy for him.

It's too close to call, but I'll take Khan by questionable decision on fight night! lol
