There is nothing dishonorable in protecting a fighter from getting savagely beaten when the corner feels that there fighter stands absolutely no chance of winning the fight.

What is dishonorable is to sit by callously watching your fighter risking getting killed because he can no longer properly defend himself because he is being completely outclassed.

One of those nieces who was in the audience during Canelo's fight with Khan began to weep when Kahn began connecting on Canelo during the first half of the bout. I would suggest that they keep her at home for this one since I have a feeling this fight could get ugly.

we have seen what happens when golovkin fights a fighter with slow feet

canelo is hoping golovkin will be right there to be hit and that he can hurt him what if golovkin moves around uses his jab and canelo cant hurt him i dont think canelo has a style thats gonna give golovkin problems and how good is canelos chin

I don't think so. The Reynosos are former carniceria employees. Canelo's face could look like chicharron and brain tacos and those guys would not stop the fight.

In essence what you are saying is that since the Reynosos were formerly employed as butchers they cannot distinguish between Canelo's face and slab of beef? If indeed that is the case then they are certifiably insane and should not be licensed to train any boxer or be in his corner.

It'll be like papa trinidad jumped to the ring to save Tito from Hopkins.

But it wouldn't be the first time Canelo has faced skilled, evasive opponents. He does have experience against Mayweather, Khan, Cotto, and Erislandi Lara. All of which were skilled elusive defensive fighters and good counterpunchers. What the essential difference is in this case is the power.

Also significant is that Golovkin has proven to be hittable in the past. So it isn't at all inconceivable that Canelo will connect with significantly hard combo shots. But as you said, it could all boil down to Canelo's chin or if indeed Canelo's extra weight will serve to convince GGG that he should not be too eager to make it an all-out brawl.

Each fighter will initially probe to test the waters looking for indications of weaknesses and strengths and will decide what to do accordingly.

Alvarez believes that Golovkin will fight the same way as Chavez, Jr. did...................just stand there and take shots, not fight back, but what happens when Golovkin throws punches back? Can't compare Golovkin with Khan, Cotto, Larz, Trout and the UK buy, Liam Smith? Liam Smith can't fight at all, yet he did land on Alvarez....................Golovkin is in a completely different class. Jacobs is much bigger than Alvarez, is 6 feet 1 inches tall, Rubio was also 6 feet 1 inches tall, good chin and hard puncher..................Alvarez will not be as big as they were, not can he punch as hard or have the reach...................

I have observed both boxers and I really don't believe either of them will be confounded by the other's style because each fights essentially the same way in every fight there really won't be any surprises. However, I can imagine both being taken aback by Lubochenko, Thurman and Crawford since they shift suddenly and efficiently from one style to another.

    BTW
I see no logical reason to suppose that Canelo imagines GGG fighting like JCCJ since GGG never fights in that way. So why should he be expected to suddenly come in fighting in that way now?

Didn't know that Mexican butchers had such a bad reputation. What exactly are they doing wrong?

If GGG fights Canelo like he did Ouma he won't fair too well.
