Why do I just know that Ward will win tonight?

This is getting ridiculous. Is Ward on steroids? are his gloves loaded?

You don't know he's going to win and it's an even fight. Everyone expects him to win because he won a gold medal and he hasn't lost yet. But that's amateur boxing not professional and in the pros it's a different ballgame.

Ward wont be able to rough Froch up without finding himself on the losing end and it's not clear how easy of a time he will have outboxing Froch.

Froch is an underrated boxing genius while Ward is a genius in his own right but everyone can look at a film of Ward and know. Froch does stuff which is very subtle and deceptive but very effective.

He leaves openings which aren't really openings. He throws decoys out. He has one of the best jabs in the division and can control an entire fight with it. He's not easy to deal with because of his reach and his style.

Froch can win by catching Ward with a tasty uppercut.

 

Froch is one of those fighters who are deceptively fast. Kind of like Marquez.

Pacquiao is obviously fast, Froch is deceptive. He looks slow because he throws a lot of wide loopy punches, but when he wants to throw a fast punch up the middle he's as fast as Ward.

I guarantee you'll see him land on Ward tonight. He might not knock Ward out or win, but he will land more on Ward than any other fighter has.
