I'm not really aware of all the details. If that's true, then that's a shame that the fights didn't happen when they should have.

Sometimes a win is so great that after the victory you elevate yourself to a new level.

When Duran beat Leonard in Montreal he entered GOD mode. Other similar instances were when Ali Knocked out Foreman and when Hagler knocked out Hearns. They entered GOD mode.

    There's levels to this stuff.

If my choices are between current fighters and legendary trainers who trained the likes of SRL and Hearns and studied in depth the majority of their competitors, l'm pretty happy chosen the coaches. You just need to choose anyone to validate your position and it definitely shows.

Maybe. But Steward's generation includes Lewis and Wlad, so it's not exact ancient history. And Lederman felt Mayweather's brittle hands would play a factor against Duran and cited a couple of fights in which Floyd clearly was hurt from throwing punches.
And since he was one of the judges to help score Duran's sole loss at 135 he would be the perfect guy to make this assessment.

Really, how hard can this be to grasp? Pimp's
already given Floyd these wins when the reality is that it's a question mark as to who wins these fights.

It is catch situation, these guys did not want to box Floyd when he was coming up. Yet when they declined and Floyd became the man they all wanted him and got him when they were past their best.

I think prime Floyd beats these guys in their primes yet it never happened.

Oscar was only slightly past it when he fought Floyd, and that was evened out by the fact that he drug Floyd up to 154 where Floyd had no business at. Oscar ruined himself by trying to cut down to 147 after spending 8 years at 154.

Prime Mosley wanted nothing to do with Floyd. That right there tells you he didn't even believe he could beat Floyd.

Mosley shamefully ducked Floyd after beating Vargas saying he had a toothache and needed a vacation. lol Even Jim Lampley and Roy jones agreed that it would probably be dumb for them to fight Floyd he had eveyrhting to gain and nothing to lose. Take a look. People forget that before Floyd DLH, he wasn't a big name and people avoided him.

All is video appears to be saying is that from a business perspective it never made sense for either to fight him. That's far different than actually avoiding him for fear of loosing. Jones said that both had nothing to gain and everything to lose.
