Why do Klitschko fans find it so hard to accept.....

Nobody would complain is Lewis won by regular KO or gave Vitaly rematch.

Now it looks like he was loosing, won by lucky cut and run away into retirement.

Lewis got a rematch from both McCall and Rahman. Even a 37 year old much smaller Holyfield gave him a rematch when he could have just as easily retired. But he never gave a rematch.

 

Lewis is Canadian. He fought for Canada in the Olympics and got gold.

And exactly which punch did this damage to Vitali? When just moments before he was backing up Lewis across the ring by landing a right, missing a left hook, landing a grazing right, missing a left. Lewis stumbled back. Vitali was holding and pushing Lewis and Lewis was backing up as fast as he can. Then Lewis landed a nice uppercut.

Again, Lewis landed his second best punch of the round, a very good uppercut that snapped Vitali's head up, in the last second. Why didn't Vitali eat canvas if he was holding for dear life?

I thought Lewis was gonna knock him out, eventually, if it wasn't for the stoppage. But, that is just me.

 

I´m a fan of both the Klitschkos and Lewis. Lewis won this fight fairly. Vitali did well in the fight but Lewis looked slower than usual and a bit burned out, so it was not as impressive as if he´d been fighting Lewis in top shape. I´m not sure what would have happened if the fight had continued, but I think most likely it would just have been stopped in the next round due to the cuts. I think both the Klitchkos are very good but Lewis is prime for prime better IMO.

So please tell me how I, as a Klitchko fan, am delusional, a nuthugger or how I´m having a hard time accepting Lewis winning his fight with Vitali.
