London is too flat to produce outstanding cardio compared to other places.

lot of people I knew in durham did a 10k hillwalk just getting to/from school... in London they got on a bus for a 1/2km journey.

my first London flatmate took me aback when he used his car to get to the food store...at the end of our road. that's just unfathomable for me....but its normal for him. u aren't going to become a sports star if that's your norm (unless you are doing the soft sports golf, snooker etc)

doubtful he would have got so fit growing up/training in London.

weithout his fitness he'd have been an ebu champ max.

this is absolute bull****, most of us don't own a car and there are lots of hills.

it is because we don't want to damage our pretty faces.

I don't deny theres plenty who don't own cars. But you'll find there much less car ownership outside londons outer boroughs than within them.

And people do rely on transport here more than elsewhere. Because it exists, you take it. don't pretend that you don't.

that's true I am sure as anywhere in the world, but I am referring broadly to cardio sports.

have you ever been to london? there are lots of hills just better things to do than run up them.

while this has no bearing on the average lazy cuunt, i get public transport like twice a year, so don't tell me what i do.

we do have the only actually british tour de france winner, although he's a massive twwat, so not that a great thing.

I lived in Lndon for 20 years and 95% of people I know don't have a car. About 50% cycle though
