I'm not sure what that has to do with Floyd wanting to fight in LV. Only Floyd knows why he wants to fight in LV. For me I'd want to fight in my own back yard as well....just as long as there were meaningful opposition to face. If Floyd is fighting in LV so he can us Xylocaine so be it. It's not a PED and it's meant to help a fighter who other wise would be suffering from a hurt hand or hands.....therefore not allowing him to be at his best. There is nothing wrong with Xylocaine nor has Manny or roach said there was. But I didn't know you were trying to defend Floyd for the reason of others trying to insinuate that Floyd is trying to contiue using the otherwise banned substance....for me it's a non issue.
Exactly. The report surfaced in 2002 around the Castillo fights. Look at where Floyd fought after those fights, besides Vegas; Cali, Michigan, New Jersey, Oregon. He also fought in Cali right before the Castillo fights. All his fights are in Vegas now because they put up the most money.
Come on guys stop looking for bull**** theorys. Tax laws are very relaxed in Vegas, infact its exempt. So therefore when your making millions in a fight, I'm sure any sane mind would want to avoid tax. Secondly the arenas in Vegas will pay you far more to house the fight with them than anywhere else in the world, why you may ask. Simple, the amount of money that is generated on fight weekend, executives and corporates, even government officials will attend. So you can imagine a lot of high rollers, therefore arenas like MGM can afford to offer massive amounts to stage a big fight simply because fight weekend will attract major spending and gambling in return. After all he calls himself Money, so the clues in the name ladies.
Which he? Floyd or Pac? I'd imagine neither of them have ever failed because neither of them have ever done anything which would get caught by the tests (including using lidocaine within a week of a fight). No ****, Sherlock. Where have you been? The former Nevada State Athletic Commission Medical Advisory Board Chairman and Chief Ringside Physician doesn't think NSAC's tests are up to the job either.
Because he wants to gamble all the money he won from the fight straight after. - He then loses it and calls out another fighter on the day (y)
There aren't as many fighters who would want to fight in Joe's back yard of Whales vs.....Fighters who would be willing to fight in LV simply b/c there is more money...more exposure..ect...ect....ect......Joe's resume was hindered b/c of his lack of wanting to fight outside of Whales. While he keep his undefeated record his legacy suffered b/c he didn't have enough substance regarding his resume.....towards the end of his career he finally got some legacy building fights.
xylocaine is not illegal u jackasses anyone who says this has never been to the dentist.... stop believing everything the roach says idiots..
is that supposed to be some kind of insult? like.... 'if you dont like (enter fighters name) you dont know **** about boxing!' :rofl:rofl:rofl
you missed the point and youre calling people names. take youre medicine son, or go take a nap come back tomorrow.
The thread starter is most likely a new Pacquiao who's never been a real fan of the sport. Mayweather's fought outside of Vegas several times. He went for a number of years with his fights being exclusively outside of Vegas before the Judah fight. It's obvious that the thread starter is attempting to say Floyd's using illegal substances (it's legal) and that's the reason he won't fight outside of Vegas.
