Why do modern heavyweights look as if they have faster jabs than old heavyweight boxers?

    In some of Ali`s fights he threw far more shots than AJ and Parker did in their boring fight, not many of today`s heavies would match Ali and Frazier`s punch outputs in their first fight, however Ali wasn`t very active in the second fight v Norton.

    Not really put them side by side with Ali and Holmes and you'll see fast.
