Because Margarito's resume was just hard to compete with in 2006.

Kenny is an idiot. No matter who Mayweather fights he will try and make it look bad, even if he fights Pacquiao next then watc Kenny say he's ducking Mosley and if he fights Mosley then he's ducking Pac.

It's not that it's weak, as said before, it's that it could be better.

When you're as brash as Mayweather is and say the things he does, not to mention so skilled and talented, people want and expect more.

If he did beat those guys people criticize him for not fighting, well some people would still find a reason to complain, but you'd hear less of it.

Because he said that he is the greatest of all time. If you're the greatest of all time you better back it up. Pacquiao on the other hand is just doing his job :good, nothing personal:hi:

My advice to you: Acquire the word "cherrypicking" in your vocabulary first. Memorize and learn the meaning of it. Relate it to Floyd and you'll get what I mean.

Well his best wins came at 130 pounds but since then he hasn't fought any of the best fighters in his weight division (except maybe JLC which is debatable).

His overall resume isn't bad but it could be a whole lot better.

Mayweather's resume is above average, maybe not the greatest, definately not weak at all!

Mayweather was king of 3 divisions, and it could of been 4 but guys like Cotto & Hatton wouldn't come near him at 140lb! I don't fault Mayweather for not fighting Margo, I fault Margo & mostly I fault Arum! Mayweather had an open PPV date & any bright fighter would jump at the opportunity to drop a date & except that one! After the dust settled Arum became even more of an ass & wanted dibs on Mayweather's next two fights in order to fight Margo. SSM made it clear he wouldn't be available to fight once Mayweather called him out so that's 4 fighters who all had opportunities to make fights! Can't completely fault him like the haterz tend to do!

Floyd's at the point where he can call his own shotz & coming out of retirement does mean he'll be starting at the bottom or even the middle! He's still a draw, a big name and he can still run the negotiation table. I think he's gonna come back & take out all those guys who ran or made excuses who are calling his name. Personally I'd like him to take care of Pac, and go to MW & take care of unfinished bizness! Even then I think the haterz will find something to criticize about him!

Weak resume,...I think not. He's only gonna improve on an already above average resume!:good

Floyd's resume is solid... but no-one can say it is great. It just isn't. His comp from 140-154 is weak. There are more than a few fighters from this era who have significantly stronger resumes. It's the main reason why Floyd's ATG ranking will never match his considerable talents. Personally I genuinely don't see the argument for having him as a top 50 ATG. Sorry, but a win and a loss to Castillo, and wins over Corrales, Judah, Hatton at 147, and a past-prime Oscar is simply not top 50 ATG material at all. So many fighters have done so, so much more.

If Judah was so over the hill then why was Cotto given so much credit for beating him?
