Why you acting like is Floyd's fault for the fight to take place at WW. JMM was p4p num3 at the time and he merits a fight with Floyd but do you expect Floyd to fight at JMM's weight class? Get real! Thats not how things work in boxing. You challenge the champ you go take it from him. Floyd was nice enough to try to meet JMM at a catchweight. Did Pac do that Favor to his opponents? hell no.

And don't act like Marquez stood any chance against Floyd at any weight. If weight really was the problem you would've heard JMM demand a rematch as soon as Pac's limped body fell to the floor.

Paul Williams went down like that, doesn't make him any less of a warrior before or after. RJJ has gone down in a bunch of ways, I'm sure one of them fits whatever point you're trying to prove.

  4. He very well might of been P4P #3 he was also 2 weight divisions lower than Fraud, and had not fought higher than LW at that time. Pac had fought him at lower weights and JMM had fought above LW by the time fight 3 happened.
And Fraud could of given JMM a catchweight but NO he needs **** in his favour. And remember he also could not make weight lmao
Your stupid comment about JMM and a rematch is as ridiculous as you, styles make fights and JMM would lose against Fraud every time even 10 years ago if they were at the same weight.. I do not disrespect Frauds talent unlike you towards Pacquiao...

its either floyd is scared or stupid or both...either way floyd robbed me of a great event and a huge payday aswell....

His WW "run" wasn't as great as his battles in the lower weights, that's for sure.

But the fact that he was obliterating the toughest competitions from 147 (even took on a huge WW at 150) and making it look easy is what made him shine in the division.
Also, Pac is undeniably #1 or #2 in the WW division until he got KO'd by JMM.
He's been in that position since he defeated Cotto.
If being #1 for 3 years is not enough for you, then yeah, it's not an "impressive" run.

Cotto was one of the best wins of his career. If it isn't, then FMJ gets no credit from defeating Cotto either.
Clottey and Margarito were OK fights.
    Mosley was ****.
Bradley was a decent win. Showed us Pac is simply on a different caliber.
JMM 3 and 4 were epic wars.

Name me another fighter in the past 3 years that has dominated the WW division aside from Pac and FMJ then sure, maybe his WW run wasn't "great".

But we all know you can't, so STFU.

Great post, completely agree, though I think Margarito was a much more impressive win than Clottey because to take some of Margarito's punches for a guy of Pacquiao's size is damn impressive.

Everything else I agree with - his "win" over Bradley actually just showed how a highly rated young fighter like Bradley was outgunned whenever Pacquiao decided to throw and did not hurt Pacquiao once...

His WW performance have not been great, at least since 2010... it's coincided with his lethargic performances but it still makes me laugh how people try and discredit that Cotto performance, it's one of the great performances of recent times considering the size difference and how highly rated Cotto was at the time - but they have still been more impressive than another fighter whose been in that division since 2005!!!

Bottom line as said above, Pacquiao has been #1, at the very least #2 fighter in that division throughout these 4 years at WW until his recent KO, can't really better that

If anything, the criticism of his WW run is an indicator of just how high a standard people expect from him

But you kept repeating it over and over like it meant something? They were coming off of losses so it didn't look that good.

Especially when Pac ducked one of them two years earlier. Another factual point.

ppl call it great though? He had 2 decent fights there and the rest were circus acts. lost both his cherrypick fights against Marquez, and waited on Mosley to get old. It was ok, nothing special
