    Paper Titles, Catchweights and PEDs

That's all people will ultimately remember about Pacquiao's career

did you expect him to stay unbeaten forever because he was fighter of the decade last decade? the man is a missionary first, politician second, and a fighter third. its a wonder he can even compete at world level still.

    I give him credit for

    Cotto
    Clottey
    Bradley

even then he only signed when they didn't look dangerous in their fight prior to him

    because:
    1) He's the 1st fighter to start off at 108 and win a welter title
    2) He was supposed to be too small and not as effective at 130, let alone 135+
    3) He's a pressure fighter, so his style shouldn't really work against bigger guys.
    4) If in 2007 you would suggest manny would achieve what he has at +135 you would be banned from this forum and considered a nutjob.
5 and my favourite) He also caused one of the greatest talents to ever lace up a pair of boxing gloves run and hide like a ***** due to health concerns.

Its an impressive run. And i agree its not the greatest welter run, but taking into account this all just a bonus to his already HOF career. He was P$P number one at 130 before he even did any of this.

I think it's just the fact that he was even fighting at WW in the first place.
