I know, Mcneeley would run and hide in one of the corners against Wlad. McNeeley might actually die against Vitali. The Klitschkos never fight bums...I can't name one bum, they always are fighting their manditories. Amazing. They certainly don't fight the bums that Tyson, HOlmes, and Ali used to fight. I will never know how or why Ali ever fought Wepner. Joke city.

Well, now the Wlad has Haye talent in front of him. No matter who wins this, hopefully the winner will get the credit they deserve.

He is underrated mostly by British and American fans. If someone only mentions his name you'll immediately get a picture of Vitali's face as proof that Lewis busted him up and tkod him. They will also say that he was beaten by Byrd. After this they will heap a lot of abuse on Lewis: he was out of shape, he was unfocused, he lost his interest in boxing, he moved like ****, the worst version of Lewis by light years, 38 years etc. IMO these are fans of Lewis that are the most insecure about the Lewis-Klitschko fight and have developed an unhealthy hatred and obsession about Vitali.

The same people in other threads will praise Marciano for fighting with a split nose, won't say anything bad about great fighters retiring on their stool not because they were injured but because they were beaten up. Will defend their favorite boxers when they get KOd (e.g. Lewis) with various excuses:unprepared, unfocused, anyone would've been KOd by that etc. When Lewis kod Tyson he was the best ever Lewis but in his next fight he was already a bum. Lewis is always 38 years old and light years past his prime but Tszyu is always 35 and prime when he fought Hatton even though lighter fighters age a lot faster than HW.

These people are clutching at straws to discredit Vitali.
Boxing Fan: Vitali retired against Byrd.
Ordinary Joe: He was being beaten up like DLH against Pacquaio?
Boxing Fan: No he retired after an injury.
Ordinary Joe: But he was losing at the time?
    Boxing Fan:Err...No
Boxing Fan: Lennox Lewis tkod Vitali.
Ordinary Joe: You mean like he TKOd Golota?
Boxing Fan: Not exactly. Let's leave it at that.

Can you imagine if Tyson was Ukrainian/East European?: Buster Douglas, Danny Williams, Kevin McBride. He will be ripped to shreds.
Can you imagine if Holyfield was Ukrainian/East European? He will be ripped to shreds.
    And many others as well.

Americans ruled the HW division and then came Lewis. They hated him. But things got even worse. A bunch of "Russians" became various champions. And Lewis was given his due as a great champion. So unless someone who they can hate even more comes along the Klitchkos won't get credit for anything they do from most Brits and Americans.

Can you imagine if the Klitschko brothers were Englishmen? It boggles the mind.

I think it takes a long time for americans to accept a foreing HW ruler! Remember Lewis also got a lot of **** when he was #1

Its the same thing with all these threads like "prime Foreman vs prime Vitaly" etc. that keeps comming up!

It's his age, dude. Peter was an over-rated wanna-be and Gomez made him look his age even more. He couldn't beat a ready to retire Lennox Lewis. Lewis in his prime would of destroyed him.

"Dominating again" means he dominated HW before retirement and that he dominates it now. I can't see how can you say something like that since Vitali:
    1) lost against two top fighters before retirement
    2) fought just twice after comeback
    3) never fought real no1, who happens to be his brother.

And for the record, I am not from US.

Prime Lennox was being beaten up by Briggs until Briggs TKOd himself by missing a right. One of the weirdest TKOs ever. Prime Lennox was KOd by Rahman. Prime Lennox barely squeked by in the fight with Tua mainly due to the size advantage. Vitali was getting the better of Lewis in their fight. In the first 2 rounds Lewis didn't do anything and he was dazed and almost finished. After the grazing right from a clinch Vitali was cut badly on the eyelid and he thew caution to the wind and went to war because he knew he either TKO/KOs Lewis or he loses on cuts. After that is at best 2-2 for Lewis against 1-eyed Vitali. Vitali has never been knocked down let alone knocked out. Even in the 6th round after a brutal uppercut he was landing power punches. Lennox was prime in his KO win over Tyson but in the fight after that he is a fat bum?

BTW Old Lennox was a much better fighter than younger Lennox. Stronger puncher, better chin.
Another misconception is that it was Prime Vitali who fought against Lewis. Prime Vitali came after the Lewis fight with the added experience from fighting an ATG.

He doesn't have any really impressive wins. Sure he beat a few decent fighters, but he is still remembered most for losing to a fat old Lewis. Sure he has the highest KO%, who the hell cares when none of those are impressive names?

Additionaly my gripe with Vitali. Especially after the recent win over Gomez, all the people on the boards defending him. Saying a win is a win and such nonsense. Boxing is a sport (duh) just like any other and is driven by the fans. Boxing is a form of entertainment. If Vitali is not entertaining he is not a good boxer. Period.

Lewis was about 5 pounds over his ideal weight. He still had visible ab muscles, and look as he normally did for every fight.

So just to clarify, please state your definition of what completely fat means to you.

    I'll wait....................:blood
