I like Vitali and i think he would of been a handful for a lot of great fighters because of his sheer size, power, chin. Wlad is boring though.
Beacause they are the best HWs but they're both utter shite. Fortunately David Haye will cast them asunder from the boxing scene so we don't have to watch their 'performances' any longer
You made some good points, philla! Vitaly is not the best heavy weight fighter who has ever lived on this planet, but he is a bloody good champ. There are always some freaks and clowns out there who hate certain fighter and try to belittle them, but all in all Vitaly gets a lot of credit from a myriad of different sectors of our society. Honour where honour is due: Vitaly is a great champ who would beat the crap out of a lot of so called all time greats.
This is why he's hated. Loony fans saying he'd beat ATG's when he fought one fat 38 yr old one, got mutilated, then....beat Sam Peter. **** off. :thumbsup
As long as some fans saying that Hollyfield(who was hardly able to beat Cyzz,an American bum) is an all time great,or that Thyson(who fought countless American no-hopers like Seldon or McNeeley) was one of the best fighters of all times,or that Holmes( a champ in the weakest era of boxing) would beat the living **** out of all present heavy weights,or............ . **** off!:hey
Where's KNN to tell us all about KO percentages and math?? O and Holy's resume is alot better than Klitchko's come on man
I hate the Klits as much as the next guy, but unlike Wlad, Vitali is tough ass fighter that wont go down when things get tough. I agree, he's not the most aesthetically pleasing fighter out there, but in the end he gets the job done. I do believe he would give alot of great heavyweights some trouble in the ring. Though, he looks like a fighter who relies on his height/size to win him most of his fights, not his skills or lack there of.
I agree with what your saying, weak division = easy pickings for a big Heavyweight with a good punch and chin. In the 90's the division was flooded with talent, Bowe, Tyson, Holyfield, Lewis, Tua, Ibeabuchi, Moorer, Morrison, Ruddick, Mercer, Golota, etc... I do see Vitali doing ok, and also picking up a belt along the way. His brother on the other hand, probably wouldn't of faired as well. His chin sucks, mental toughness is sub-par, and when the going gets tough, 9 times out of 10 he folds. Guys like Tyson and Bowe would have a field day with him, these are guys that would make **** his trunks before the fight would even begin.
Vitali and Vlad are the best heavyweights in the world today. The haters are so jealous, very angry. They are cleaning out the top ten in the world. The haters claim that Haye is the best heavyweight in the world by far, yet Haye has not fought a top ten heavyweight in his entire life.
Pah! Hollyfield did struggle with a no-hoper like Cyzz.Vitaly has never struggled with someone as limited as Cyzz in his entire career. Tucker,Witherspoor,Mercer,eh! You are a kidder, mate! As for Thyson that American bully looked good as long as he faced American clubfighters and no-hopers like Seldon or McNeeley. He found his match when he squared off against Holly, who wasnt that great either. Most of those American heavy weights are totally overrated anyway! Luckily, they didnt need to fight any good heavies from the countries of the former soviet union in their prime as their counterparts from the former soviet couldnt turn pro. Lets face the truth: most american fighters cant hold a candle to the fighters of the former soviet union. My tiny Belarus beat the " mighty" American box squad in their last encounter.None of the Belarussian fighters has turned due to lack of makebility and due to the fact that they cant earn any decent bucks at the pros. It the countries of the former soviet union had as much money as the American fight market at their disposal you would hardly find any american name among the top 20 from supermiddle to heavy.
