    Carl Frock :patsch

The only one I want to hear mispronounced is Ian Napa, which I assume is a made up name anyway.

I think "Frock" is probably the more natural English pronunciation.

Froch which a soft c sounds more sort of foreign to me, it can also easily be turned into Crotch, as the likes of Tarver does when commentating.

I'm sure if you asked most English people, not knowing who he is, they'd pronounce it "Frock".

That's my take anyway, though I know it's suppoest to be "Froch".

To be fair I call him Froch but my mate who's a forest fan and spends quite a lot of time in Notts say most the people of Notts pronounce it Frock.

He's got a point. At the weigh-in pretty much everyone seemed to be calling him Frock. If anyone was gonna get it right you'd expect it to be the locals. :huh

  6. Because 'Carl Froch is a Coch' doesn't sound right.

'Much' isn't spelt 'Mutch' is it ?

Froch makes sense to me anyway within the English language anyway.

'ch' is a voiceless affricative in English, its a 'tch' sound. Not everything is said exactly how it looks...

Jon Thaxton, apart from repeating everything Rawlings said, said "Frock" over and over again during the Dirrell fight.
