I couldn't agree more. These people who call PBF a runner are three kinds of people. One PBF haters mad that he beat their favorite fighters or two people who don't know the sport or three both.

He's not a runner! He's just a defensive fighter majority of the time and fans in boxing sometimes don't like that. I appreciate Floyd. His style isn't drama filled or extremely exciting but what you witness watching a Floyd fight is pure greatness in form of the sweet science. There is no one better in the craft of boxing. Defensively and offensively his skills are top notch.

Anyone who refuses to engage simply looking to buy time should be considered a runner. Someone who employs good defense with movement while looking to counter isn't a runner big difference there.:deal

He also hurt his and in that fight and most people fail to mention that. Not only that he wasn't going to KO Baldo anyway. They bring that up but fail to mention other fights where he stood in front of people beating them to the punch and making them miss or walking people down.

Yea....true, but there are some many different kinds of fans of boxing. I tend to believe that "TRUE" fans of the sport appreicate the skills aspect more than the Boxing fan that is only appreciating "Blood and guts". I enjoy both and appreciate both but you'll always have critics in any sport. Floyd will be missed and appreciated a lot more when he's done that is for sure. I just hope we see him take on some serious challenges this go round! He can beat anyone but I want to see him fight! Or forced to fight where he has to be a pit bull to pull out a "W". Or loose some round convingly at least!

He's had some good fights but that one was on a big stage as well as Oscar which was more defensive minded and people were expecting someone being hurt.
Alot of it is people who haven't followed his career, and are generalizing his welter career.
