Why do people care about PPV and how much fighters get paid?

It's been talked about a lot on this site because it's one way *****s justify calling Floyd a better fighter. They think because he sells more PPV's than Manny, it makes him a better fighter.....stupid? I know, but that's *****s for you man.

 

Are they gonna get any share from that money?
I'm mean who cares how much these fighters earn?
Are the fans gonna get rich if their fighters get richer?
