When it comes to the scoring of the fight my, your, and everyone elses opinion means nothing. Only the judges opinion matters. I have never said my opinion "mattered" I said Williams won easily. That DOES NOT mean my thoughts/opinions matter. Margarito beat a smaller fighter in Cotto who quit in the fight. Margarito will not be able bully Williams or any other bigger fighter like he did Cotto.

So you're saying that Margarito was doing nothing early as a part of a strategy?

The reason why he loses early is because his opponent is obviously fresh and tires from actually throwing and landing and that's where Margarito shines, the same thing happened with Cotto and the only difference here is that Cotto couldn't handle what Margarito offered and successfully broke down yet Williams didn't. That's Margarito's tactic basically and will be the very same whether it's Clottey next or Williams. Definitely not hinting that this isn't affective, of course it's affective and also discouraging but it can be beaten and controlled as Williams proved already.

Margarito started to fight late,he didn't let his hands go in the first half of the fight, with Cotto he learned his lesson

That's bull****. Just recently Cotto was getting pummeled in the second round against Margarito. Many guys before him also were hit hard and early by Margarito. Check out how many first and second round knockouts he has.

It's obvious when you don't have hate in your eyes.

Margarito thought Williams would fall from a few hard punches. That's really all he was looking for. If he had fought his fight, mixed up punches upstairs and downstairs, punched in volume instead of quality then the rounds would have been much closer. Instead he followed Williams around the ring and looked to land one big right hand upstairs. And when he finally did he realized Williams wasn't so easy to knockout, but by then it was too late. Too many rounds had gone by.

Paul Williams is no defensive specialist. His reach accounts for dick against a guy near his own size who can walk through his power. What was underestimated was his chin. He beat Margarito because of his chin and because Margarito fought the wrong fight. Paul fought the right fight. That's really all that needs to be said about it.

Because it's the truth. When Margo went up to 154 he ran his ass back down to 147 because his size adavantage he enjoys at 147 wasn't there. His size advantage is what makes his style effective. Which is why a guy like Williams will always give him hell. If he was so great as many of his fans think then he would have beeen able to move up to 154 and win a title there a true sign of greatness by moving up and facing men his own size or bigger and still being able to win. It's stuff like this that separates boxers like PBF who started at 130 and won titles all the way to 154 where he fought and beat bigger men from guys like Margo who rely on their advantage of size over their opponent to win.:deal

Margo does not put on that much weight after the way in.

Having a tall frame for your weightclass is a physical advantage just like having fast handspeed, a good chin, hard hands, etc.

Cintron doesn't seem to have it in him to be honest. He has no inside fighting game and can't fight backing up.
