Why do people criticize Wilder yet praise Anthony Joshua?

Because AJ is only taking the first steps into his career and Wilder is 6 years in without fighting anyone remotely ranked.

 

Wilder's been a pro for 6 years and Joshua for 1 year, big difference.

I also think Wilder's criminality, arrogance, and lunacy have something to do with it.
