Why do people dislike GGG?

there isnt anything to not like about him as a fighter..aside from his overall level of comp and the fact that he ducked a legit fight with ward

the biggest problem is his fans and their refusal to admit both.....they act as if hes a god...and cut from a different cloth....when in fact hes handled by k2 just like any other fighter is handled....his fans make fun of certain fighters for certain things and then let ggg skate for the same things......thats what draws hate...as a fighter i think hes good...very good...how good? we dont know yet...and if he keeps fighting the current level of comp well never know

 

Because he is from eastern world, an absolute top fighter, Manager by K2 and he would beat out the sh!t of every american boxer Black or White :deal

fact is...ward said he wanted the fight and ggg said "ok 164" knowing full well andre ward wouldnt go for it...thats exactly what k2 wanted...to look like they tried and wanted it....when in reality they wanted it to be rejected in hopes ward would disappear to 175 so theyd never have to hear about it again

 

I dont think he ducked anyone and i dont think many top boxers are scared of facing anyone. But on here most posters make it sound as if most fighters are scared of their own shadow

 

Most of the time is not hate for the fighters but the delusional fans. Its a trend I seen here:
- fighter shows some skills and power
- fighter knocks a few tomato cans, now everyone is scared of him
- The comparisons on how he would beat the old time greats, and that fighter hasn't even been tested.
- Everyone is avoiding him, and he would destroy any fighter from any weight class.

Then the fighter gets ko'ed by a nobody and we go back to talking boxing until the next big thing appears.
Some examples: Khan, Mathysse, Broner ect.

 

i dont think ggg is scared to face ward...i dont think hes afraid....but his handlers are taking a business approach....a UD loss to ward would damage gggs "brand"....his brand being a superhuman ko machine.....

his fans defend this business approach now with ggg...but in the past have made fun of others fighters for not fighting for "legacy...for taking a challenge to prove how you are".....thats why ggg gets hated on

Ward is a 168 that is more 175 so Ward want him at 168 and GG said 164, right?

Cotto and Canelo say 155 and if GGG say no he is a Coward, don't you think that is pure double standart?

People blame him for not taking 155 and for not taking 168,but he is 160.

And I bet, he do not Need Ward, Cotto and Co the way they Need GGG :deal

if ggg is offered a fight with canelo or cotto at 155 he IS TAKING IT...no doubt about it.....and if he didnt i wouldnt call him a coward..i dont think he should fight cotto at any weight...thats a mismatch...cotto doesnt belong in the ring with ggg...if he gets offered a fight with canelo at 155 ggg will take it....he did say hed fight at 154 right? and he wants that wbc strap right? so he would take it

and cotto and canelo do not need ggg......ward doesnt really need him either...wards resume/career is already better than gggs...and ward can go get kovalev and solidify his greatness.....its gggs resume/legacy who looks like trash right now....hes the one who needs a legit scalp on his resume

 

GGG is the most avoided fighter at the Moment, so I dont care about the 3C... Cotto, Canelo and COWARD cause GGG is making his way and he gets the most dangerous fighter day by day

 

Some people hate him because he's fighting "bums", others hate him cause he didn't fight Ward.. I can only think of these two reasons to hate him.

He's a humble guy with almost child like personality, so I can't see him being hated for that.

He's got an exciting style that would appeal to both a casual and a purist at the same time.

Most likely though, it's another reason altogther but I'll not delve into that.

Because of his skin color. White boys aren't supposed to be able to fight, we get it. Hate on...

 

Too damn white and too damn un-american for the cuckolds on this forum. Normal straight men and women like him just fine.
