Because he gets the most hype and people hate that. Very similar to Mayweather hate. (relax fanboys I'm not saying they have the same skills. I'm talking about the haters.) The haters LOVE to spout one quote and use it to validate their belief that he fights nobodies, even though the ONLY fight they cling to is the potential Ward fight. For some reason, it's f**king awesome that Ward gets 3 tuneup fights against garbage to fight a real LHW threat, but GGG wants to fight Froch and suddenly GGG is a coward.
So, Ronda Rousey has no skills since the quality of her opponents is dirt? I disagree. Your skills can be determined by the outcome of fights against opponents too, not just quality of them. If you're facing lesser competition but blow through all of them in extraordinary fashion, then there's a good chance you're the real deal. If you face lesser competition and it's competitive, then good chance you're not.
Not you but the hate he receives from some people just isn't in proportion, he deserves critique in some aspects but if he gets all that just because he didn't want to face someone above his own weight class at the current time then I don't know what to say.
I see where you're coming from. You'll see the best out of a fighter when they are tested which is what we have yet to see from her or GGG. That doesn't mean they don't have great skills, they do. It's visible in the way they absolutely destroy good- not great - but good, fighters.
By the way, I think he has skills and also think he will be the undisputed middleweight champ soon, and will stay so for a long time. I'm a fight of Cotto, but I don't think nor him or Canelo beats GGG. With that said, is too soon to be comparing him with other ATG middleweights, when he hasn't been challenged. And that's my gripe, when the fans start becoming delusional and/or closed minded, that as soon as you bring a different opinion or argument, they get emotional or label you as a hater.
It's his damn fans, plain and simple. GGG is very fan friendly and has a good style with potential to be the best someday(maybe). But his fans don't want to let him crawl before he walks. They just want to rush him to greatness, and with his shallow resume that's just not possible. I've talked to real GGG fans at fights I've attended, and they agree that GGG has the goods but is untested. They also think the GGG fans on the boxing forums are utter complete idiots who give them a bad rep. I've encountered a few GGG fans on here that are real, the rest are just fanboys who jumped from Pacs boat onto the GGG bandwagon on a one way trip to bumville.
No hate just facts. He fights bums. Will not challenge himself in another weight classes. But, challenges others in lower weight classes. He has brainwashed fans.
