Why do people disregard Hayes record at cruiser?

You can slate Hayes career all you want but you are really doing Waldo a huge disservice.

Because once Waldo gets sparked on saturday night he will have been beaten by what you describe as a crap CW :good

 

Cruiser is a piece of **** division. Guys are fighting for bar tabs at cruiser because no gives a **** about the division.

 

You wont see 2/3 of these mother ****ers after Haye wins these fans are cut that way....

Juan Carlos Gomez also did a hell of a lot more in the CW/HW junior division on top of that.

That has nothing to do with what Haye has done, Wlad didnt fight Gomez, so it has nothing to do with this fight on saturday...

 

Haye defeated Mormeck and Fragomeni which is laudable but he was no ATG cruiser. Only 1 title defense and only 2 elite wins total. He was unified and lineal champ but not undisputed champ.

 

Mormeck was a tuff SOB.. tell me something when have you or any of your Pro Klitschko girls won any world titles?
So whe the **** are you to downsize a fighter like Mormeck? seriously

 

Nope Haye was a good cruiserweight but not this GREAT boxer he and his fans try and make him out to be. Good fighter no doubt! But these guys in Klitschko's record that he likes to call "bums" ...he isn't as good as a few of them. Byrd, Ibragimov, Chageav, Peter before he was beaten half to death by Vitali. Although he was in great condition when he rematched Wlad. all these guys would have beaten Haye imo.

Don't think it's anything personal against Haye. Cruiserweight is an overlooked division. Most cruiserweights tend to be forgotten unless they move to heavyweight, then only what they do at heavy is ever remembered.

9 out of 10 laypeople probably never knew Holyfield was a long-reigning cruiserweight much less one of the 3 best cruiserweights of all time. And I'd say fewer than 1 in 4 boxing enthusiasts could tell you who Holyfield beat at Cruiserweight, how long he reigned, or what belts he held.

Ditto with Michael Spinks. Most people know him as a Tyson victim, many (but not all) boxing fans know he beat Holmes twice, and again I'd be surprised if more than 1 in 4 boxing enthusiasts know anything about his reign at cruiserweight. And that's a shame because he's one of the greatest fighters of the 80s due to his work at cruiserweight.

It's just an overlooked division.

 

Our point about Gomez was refuting this "source" that said Haye was top 4 ATG cruiser weight. What ever source that was! A LOT of past cruisers were better than him.

 

Well if you truely beleive that, what will that say about Wlad if Haye does win? that he got beat up by an over rated blown up cruiser weight..... which should mean that Wlad was never **** from the get.

You all need to start watching what the **** you say, it will only diminish Wlads victory should he win... and will only hurt him more should he lose.....
