I have always had my doubts about david haye over his chin his stamina and his accuracy and consistency but he is an exciting fighter to watch for sure and is capable of knocking out wlad I just think on the night his nerves will get the better of him and he will choke.

He won 4 world titles, WBC, WBA, WBO + ring belt

    In 22 fights

He's always said he wanted a short career and to achieve his goals and that's it.

If he wins saturday he will be

    WBA, WBO, IBF, IBO

Total of 8 world titles in 27 fights in two weights

It is what it is, you can dress it up however you like but he has done it his way from start to finish and backed up every word to this point

Uh, it's whole different ballgame fighting HWs. Haye has YET to prove himself in the division in which he is currently fighting.

And, based on his record at cruiser, there is good reason to doubt he can take a HW punch!

I discount it because it's not worth **** when it comes to fighting Wladimir Klitschko.

Because it's of no relevance to what he has done at heavyweight, and therefore no relevance to how good a heavyweight he is.

Operative word being "heavyweight", what he's done at cruiserweight certainly does count in regards to how good a boxer he is, and how he should be remembered when it's all said and done.

yes...exactly like that. right now at heavyweight wlad is "the champ" (wbo & ibf & ring champion) wheras haye is a belt holder.

but at cw...haye was without question "the champ" while cunningham was "a belt holder".

thanks for backing me up. :thumbsup

  13. Haye was probably a great cruiserweight but we'll never know since he only had 3 significant wins in that division. He beat Fragomeni who was never that good, Enzo who has zero punch resistance, and Mormeck who I think was shot after the Bell fights... And Mormeck even put Haye on his ass in that fight!

And to you guys saying stuff like "Cruiserweight division has always been ****," Evander Holyfield and Dwight Qawi say :hi:

This guy and Adamek, that's why...

Haye's CW resume isn't that good at all...

    Marcrinelli? He was trash...

    if haye's cw resume "isn't that good"...what's adamek's?

haye beat enzo mac? & that's not good enough? one of adamek's title defences was against a guy sparked by enzo mac in 1. :deal

both steve cunnigham & thomas adamek only have 2 successful title defences at cw...& neither of them have a win as good as haye's over mormeck.

haye's resume at cw > adamek's or cunningham's resume at cw.
