Why do people disregard Hayes record at cruiser?

mormeck was o down road,mind you that in next mormecks fight after Haye he struggled against vinny maddalone,ranked 100 something baseball player who Adamek destroyed in 5 round.Mormeck was shot at the time he fought Haye
beside Adamek beat oneil bell badly.and the best american undefeated prospect banks was brutally KOed by Adamek.plus dispatched best cruise cunningham.
not taking anything from Haye but adamek had better resume at cruise

 

he didn't struggle against maddalone at all...he may have had a harder time than he ought to because it was his first fight at the weight...kinda like how adamek struggled (& he actually DID struggle...unlike mormeck vs maddalone) against estrada.

banks is crap tbh. & that was a ref stoppage not a "brutal ko" iirc.

that was one of his 2 title defences at cw...his other title defence was against bobby gunn btw...a guy who was stopped in 1 rd by enzo macc...which amuses me cos haye is getting flack for fighting enzo...but adamek is getting none for facing a guy who enzo took out in a rd.

mormeck was considered the best cw until haye beat him. then haye was considered the best cw until he moved up to hw. adamek beat a belt holder.

i disagree...but at least you approached the argument from the side of saying what adamek did...rather than just saying haye was **** so adamek must be better like the ****** i originally replied to. so; even tho i disagree...i respect your opinion. :good

 

Haye was an awesome cruiser, the power was immense.

 

Won two of four belts....= unification if you are a fan of his.

Other wise it's didn't unifiy at that weight when he could have had he wanted too.

Lots of men with two belts....and even having three belts don'e make for a unification....Unification is all 4 belts.
All 4 belt factory's have @ the same level of champions....none of the belts are better or worse than the others....in it's been nearly 30-40 years since the IBF and the WBO came into being.
I can remember when the WBA and WBC were 'new'.

 

Because no one gives a **** about the cruiserweight division

 

"unification" is 2 or more belts. like haye/wlad is "unification" fight. "undisputed" is the term for someone who has every belt.
