He's 6'3 and will be 215 lbs when he moves up, same as Ali.

Dominated very skilled super Heavyweights like Joyce in the WSB.

hes been hit very hardly by extremely hard hitting olympians and stayed upright. i dont know why they doubt. he may not hit hard at hw, but he would make most hw's collapse through exhaustion with his workrate and speed.

yep, as long as he does not fight like in the Gassiev fight. It will be difficult to discourage a 6'7" guy from coming at you when he is not afraid of your power though.
Plus I wanna see if all of his fans are going to retract all of the smacked they talked about guys like Mayweather and Lara if Usyk goes up to HW and becomes elusive.

I really hope that if he does go up he does well. I'm not convinced that he hits hard enough for HW though. Would love to be proved wrong.

Because 6'3 215 was big in the 60-70s, and is now small. No HW has ever really dominated a division without being larger than their peers and or harder hitting than them. Small movement based fighters like him just don't dominate at HW. If he clears out the division it would be unprecedented.

Usyk don't have the power at heavyweight. He won't beat the top guys on points, fighting on the back foot. Just imagine him against the likes of the bodybuilder Joshua, and the bronze bomber Wilder. Scrambled brains on toast comes to mind, he'd be in survival mode like Joseph Parker.

Seeing him against Joe Joyce & Junior Fa in the amateurs it's pretty obvious he can handle the tall timber.

First things first though, let's see him win the snoozerweight tournament & then go Holyfield.

Usyk's skills will translate to heavy. I don't think Gassiev's brute force approach will translate well to heavyweight from cruiser so I hope we get the right result from that tournament.

Heavyweight belongs to 6'4"+ 240lb+ men

I don't care how skilled you think Usyk is and how much you suck him off. He gets leveled by all of the tops heavys. He can deal with the big bums roaming around though. plenty of them he can clean up. But the current top 5 or 6? no chance.

usyk will make waves at heavy

as long as he does not blow up to much in weight
215lb would be big enough on his frame

    he is fast/skilled/technical /stamina/workrate

the only thing he will lack is a big punch

but his skillset will give every single heavy in the top 10 with no exceptions problems.

the way to beat him will be to virtually manhandle him ala fury v cunningham .
trying to pin him down or match speed and skills will prove very hard

i dont see no one outside of the very best heavies giving him problems
he will embarress a lot of heavies used to fighting big lumps .

gassiev will be a bigger test thn 95% of the heavies usyk might face.

of course he risks being ktfo at heavy .

Because in this century at least, no small heavyweight has dominated.

I hope Usyk moves up and does well, I look forward to seeing how it pans out.

    True,

Except Tyson 85-90 dominated, unified. Bigger men lost on their way to the ring when facing Iron.

When was the last dominant heavyweight champion under 6’3? I’ll answer my own question, about twenty years ago!

Frank Bruno was scared schittless against Tyson 2nd time...man that was an aura of invincibility

Yeah, Tyson said it himself, totally a different era of BIG men.

Joyce isn't very skilled just yet, and definitely wasn't in the amateurs. Those straight crosses, will be Usyks doom at heavy.
