him getting older will mean nothing.....his skill set will allow him fight for a while....his greatest asset is his boxing smarts his ability to out think his opponents......the man simply knows how to box.

Cotto looked good yes but still....what does he bring that floyd aint seen?

this fight happens because it will be the only real money fight for floyd.

A mixture of youth, a size advantage, focus, skills, hand speed and heavy hands.

    Well not always.

It depends on who's calling who. If an unproven fighter calls out big names . . . that's considered just a hallucination.

    :D

Timothy Bradley "called out" Amir Khan and said "stop running!"

I guess the fight is on and Bradley really wants Amir!

I think that boxing is missing that aspect of the game these days. I get excited when someone gets called out. Hell, it's better than saying 'talk to my promoter'. That's the old tradition in boxing. Call em out, start some ****. This is what boxing is all about. Physical confrontations and altercations. This needs to happen more. **** the promoter. Don't say anything about a vacation, or a promoter when the interviewer asks you who you'd like to fight. Be men and call him out. Whom ever 'he' may be.

I agree it doesn't mean much. But somehow people get into the hate someone has for an opponent as though the fight will be better.

Did Haye talk himself into a fight with Wlad? I'd say he probably did to some degree.

Sergio keeps calling out Floyd Jr. and Pacquiao but both of them still have no respond.
