Why do people hate Amir Khan instead of praising him for fighting hungry fighters?

He fights undefeated Garcia, albeit loses, but then he comes straight back and isn't fighting someone who's had 5 losses with a poor k.o. ratio, he instead comes back and is fighting an undefeated, hungry, and potentially dangerous fighter. People give Khan so much ****, but at least he's bringing the entertaining fights. Not like Pacquiao who is fighting Marquez for a 4th time. No one wants to see another Marquez robbery. Pacquiao should fight an undefeated, hungry fighter, instead of an old, bloated Marquez.

Just because he's undefeated, it doesn't make him a dangerous fighter. No disrespect to Molina, but he's a lightweight with limited experience and knockouts.

This is just a confidence booster and a chance for Khan to find his feet under a new trainer. Nothing more, nothing less. Don't hype it up to be something it's not.

What happened with Josesito Lopez? He came up and beat Victor Ortiz. Also, no one thought Danny Garcia would do to Amir what he did, but he did it. Everyone was counting Bradley out against Pacquiao, but what happened? He fought tooth and nail, and gave Pacquiao his hardest and closest fight in years! So you can't say that Molina isn't dangerous. Beating Amir, who is still a big name, will propel him into the mix...That's the truth.

Victor Ortiz was winning on all cards, Garcia got a lucky punch and that was NOT Manny's closest fight in years. But point taken.

Lopez and Garcia causing upsets are exceptions to the rule. This is boxing. Stuff like that happens. But that's not a valid enough reason to then go hyping up fighters/fights to something they're not, just because there's a slight chance of an upset.

And no, Bradley did not give Pacquiao his hardest fight in years .

    Stop trolling, troll.

Point is, there's always the chance of an upset. The kid is undefeated and will be up against a big name. He knows that if he wins, he will go into the mix with the champions at 140.

Again with the luck punch bull**** :patsch.

Please explain how a punch that was being repeatedly thrown -- getting closer and closer and even finding the mark a few times -- becomes a lucky punch when it finally hits the button?

He did give pacman his toughest fight in a long time. while you're on the subject of hyped up, include Pacquiao in that list, along with his so called "HOF" trainer.

    And?

That still doesn't make him that much of a dangerous fighter that Amir should be recieving praise for fighting.

His personality is ****. Instead of wanting to learn, he thinks he's at a level to challenge the very best (isn't a bad thing, but combined with the next point...) It is never his fault, he seems to throw blame at other people for him losing, this is shown by his changing of trainers.

Here is how I have seen Khan since he turned pro.

Never really liked his personality from the start.
He started believing he was better than what he was quite early (which virtually stopped his learning curve).
Got KO'd by Prescott and I thought this would humble him.
It did and he went to Roach.
He started learning, and by the time of and after the Malignaggi fight I was a fan.
He beat Maidana and his arrogance went through the roof again, looking past opponents.
His attitude has been the same ever since.
Not really a fan anymore. Although I like his exciting bouts and his heart.

Im pretty sure it was the Garcia camp-namely Angel-that was talking **** and acting like ****s. He got set up and cheated against Peterson, for any other boxer that would have garnered a lot of sympathy

Bull****. You need to watch the bout again. We know Khan is very fast, and his flurries automatically draw peoples attention, but go watch the bout and look at Garcia's overlooked work. He was tagging Khan hard from the first round.
