Why do people hate Amir Khan instead of praising him for fighting hungry fighters?

It depends what you mean by luck. Sure it was a punch thrown and timed in hope of catching Amir and I understand that is a technique used in boxing. But I appreciate that skill less than that of looking at your opponent and landing flush on the chin which is where any hook is supposed to land if it isn't a body shot.

You need luck, but it wasn't a lucky punch.

I actually underrated Garcia. His timing is very, very good. My prediction before the bout, Khan easy UD. I thought Garcia was one-paced. I couldn't have been more wrong.

I think its a case of fans watching only one fighter, instead of the fight. Watching what one fighter is doing, and either missing, or not understanding, what the other fighter is doing in there.

    just imo

Definitely. Like I said in another post, I underrated Garcia before that bout. His work he did in the bout against Khan is not really appreciated either. It comes across like I hate Khan, which isn't true, it's just like you said, people just seem to have missed Garcia's work in that bout.

Yes I did check the compubox numbers, and also rewatched i didn't pause and count every shot but clearly khan was landing volumes more shots, Garia landed a few but was getting swarmed.

anyway i dont really care im not a khan fan in particular, nor a garcia fan, lucas kills them both stone dead

But Danny was looking at Khan. It was only when he noticed him about to jump in, did he put his head down and swing. Some people aren't comfortable with keeping their head/eyes/neck up when trying to generate power into their punch. They feel it's safer and easier to look down (ducking and preventing their chin from hanging out to dry).

And what I mean by luck, would be for example: a fighter not being in the fight at all, landing a one-off shot out of nowhere that normally wouldn't have a hope in landing. Like, Fighter A pounding Fighter B on the ropes (all one-way traffic), and Fighter B in a desperate attempt to ward him off, starts swinging aimlessly himself, and lands a freak punch to knock Fighter A the fug out. That, I would consider lucky.

It was clear Khan was landing more, but the Garcia's seemed more damaging. He was being swarmed, at times.

I do agree with this. :good

If he was mute and incapable of tweeting he'd probably be very popular, alas he is not.
