Why do people hate Floyd so much?

42-0 counts for something only cuz of his competition. Although people like to discount his competition because of the names that aren't in it, they forget to give him credit for the names that are in it ex... G.Hernandez, Juuko, C.Hernandez, Manfredy, J.Chavez, Corrales, Castillo(x2), Sosa, Ndou, Corley, Gatti, Mitchell, Judah, Baldomir, De La Hoya, Hatton, J.M. Marquez, Mosley, Ortiz add to that the fact that he is a five division champion who is lineal in two (maybe three not sure about 135) and a top 3 (at least top five) ATG at 130. That's really what makes his 42-0 record sooooo impressive.

Another point I have found is that a lot of people just plain old hate dominant champions. I mean look at ALL the HATE that the Klitschko bros. get. It's almost just as bad, and i know you can't blame their attitude (both known for backing personal political and humanitarian causes that make the world a better place) or intelligence (two phd's who both speak multiple languages) it has to be the dominance.

Because he's rich arrogant and black. He has made a fortune by exploiting the prejudice of white and Mexican fight fans. He is literally a marketing genius. There is no other way to explain how a cautious defensive fighter has become as huge of a ppv star as he has except by his marketing plan to exploit the prejudices of white and Mexican fight fans. His career needs to be taught in business schools.

I don't hate anyone. I appreciate Floyd's boxing. I guess for those who hate on Floyd, almost everything he does in front of the camera is the exact opposite of what good parents teach their kids. I wonder how many Floyd fans here on ESB would defend Floyd if their kids witnessed his arrogance, racist video rant, alleged girlfriend and security guard beatings.

 

Becuase Floyd's black? Really? America's next presidential elections are going to be between 2 black men in a country where they represent only 15% of the total population. This isn't pre 1960s America anymore.
